Poll: Left 4 Dead in the UK.

I have finally decided to get into this game everyone is raving about called left 4 dead. i played the demo and really didnt like it but i seem to have grown fond of it over time. Well im from the UK and i nipped into 2 of my local game stores yesterday namely "blockbuster" and "chips" and blockbuster had nothing in stock no not even a preowned. Chips also was the same but they said something about the distributors. ANyone else having trouble getting hold of a copy and if not how did you get your hands on a copy ?

gamestation dont have it. ebay would be a final optoin but i had some trade ins that id rather use toward getting it.



and yes its the 360 version. im curerntly building up myself a pc so its not an option really.

They do it because then your forced to buy the game if you want to experience it. Not only is it cruel its just stupid. People will be less tempted to buy your game if they don't know what they'll even be doing.

true.. i always try and get a demo of the game or at least maybe borrow it from a friend for an hour just to see what im letting myself in for £40 for a game isnt sometihng im prepared to just go for on a whim.

I bought mine for Xbox360, I got it on the day it came out, and when the store open; not in the geeky kinda way like waiting in a tent, I was just in town and the shops were about to open so I decided to pick it up.
Went home and played it .. (Shit I was suppose to be in college.)

Ok whoever says Gamestaion or Game do have copies for either formatt are idiots. I live near 3 different branchs of Gamestation and 4 Game's and their are always plenty of copies. To be fair it looks like their are too many on the shelves, summing up how bitterly disapointing the game turned out to be after the hype
