Steam, though it may be slightly cheaper in GAME if you have a discount card (Found out the other day that you can get a 10% student discount in GAME, which they never mention...).

I bought my copy when it first came out. Also in nearby GAME stores there seems to be quite a few for sale as well.

I seriously didn't know that, is that discount with the NUS card?

Well, you need a GAME card too, which is (maybe) two quid, but that's payed for once you buy something over 20 pounds (Damn US keyboard, where the hell is my pound sign?).
I had no idea it even existed until my friend started working there and told me about it.
Apparently they have an unofficial policy to never mention it unless someone directly asks about it, which is sort of messed up, so you need to mention it every time you buy something or they won't put it on.

GameStation has a 10% student discount that they never mention too.

HMV also does student discount, but they're much more pro-active about telling you about it.

Try Zavvi, it had loads of Left4Dead last time I was in there, and they keep getting cheaper by the day. THats if your local one hasnt shut down yet!

Have you tried GAME or Gamestation? If not there, you could always try Amazon.co.uk.

Did you get the demo for the PC? I've not been able to find it for the 360.
They took the demo off the marketplace after the game was released...which makes no sense.
So thats what happened. I've been trying to get my friends into the game, but with no demo its pretty hard.

I've already got a GAME reward card so I'm sorted. Thnx a lot for the info.

Next time I'm in GAME I'm going to ask if they do discounts and if they say no I'm going to shout OBJECTION!with the pointed finger as well.

the reason you can't find a copy in stores is biggest the biggest distributer of games went bust just before christmas, EUK, or Entertainment UK to give them their full name.
