lost really isn't hard to figure out what's going on, tho there are some things that haven't been answered but they will be, all we have to be is patient

They lost me when the polar bear showed up about 15 minutes into the first episode. Not even Wikipedia can help me make sense of this mess.
During Seasons 2-3 they were just pulling a lot of ideas, but they stated that it would last 6 seasons at the end of season 3, and that they already know how it's going to end, they just need to write it down. Plus, tons of the loose ends and references have been tied in season 5, and the rest are left for fans like me to theorize about.
I would post a long rant on how they have no idea whatsoever about where their plot is going, but I do believe I can sum it up in a much more convenient and entertaining format:
