I can't lucid dream but some mornings when I wake up for the first 5 minutes I think my dream was real. Until I fully wake up.

I have lucid dreams quite often actually. It's usually the best part of my day, or at least the most interesting.

I'm pretty sure I've uh, lucidly dreamed before, it was pretty cool because I remembered once, I was consciously aware that I was dreaming, so I kept slapping myself, pinching myself etc, in order to wake up. But every time I did so, a major event occured which normally changed the dream. Mind you, they could probably think of a better name than lucid, in all fairness, it sounds like something they teach you in sex-ed *Shudder*. I'd think of more examples but I have trouble remembering dreams from long ago, though for those interested, the dream I stated above was a piratey type dream, set in a bay town, for instance, at one point I was in a big tavern type place with lots of people and long tables, I slapped myself and suddenly a big pirate ship burst through the wall and I got on board (Lucidly of course). But speaking of all this, there's a website called FutureHorizons where they sell among other things headset type gizmos which claim that, through altering the subconscious or some garbage, you're able to do whatever you want in a dream.

I have had lucid dreams, they randomly come and go. I didn't get what you are asking for on the last question so I ask "who?"

Dependant upon what degree of interaction you would class as lucid dreaming, yes it is possible. And as far as the question about dreams being real... of course they are real, they are meerly scenarios made by our subconscience during an almost unconscious state.

Not once have I had a lucid dream. All of my dreams are hazy, stupid and last for about 5 minutes before my damn alarm clock startles me awake and then 40 minutes later I'm on the bus to my school.

Yes very often the only problem is I never have enough time before my alarm goes off.

My lucid dreams are fucked up really, I always wake up thinking "Did that just happen?" The thing is I know I'm dreaming, but I never get this "lets play god" thing you're talking about... So I dunno what's gong on there.
I'm the same. I have nightmares where I relies its a dream and force my self awake, but never get around to playing God in my dreams.

i take control when I'm completely terrified of something, whether it's in the dream or some internal clock that tells me i'm late. at that point my consciousness instantly takes over and i stop everything by waking up.

I love lucid dreams. I haven't had a nightmare in over...3 years or so. All my dreams that I remember are lucid and awesome.

Thats why alarm clocks suck ass. And it always seems to go off at the best part of the dream...

My housemate bought a book on lucid dreaming recently and started chatting with me about it. It turns out I've been doing it for years and never knew. I just assumed that every so often people have those weird dreams you sort of control and never want to wake up from. Turns out every time I did lucid dream, I woke up at EXACTLY the wrong moment. Like when some part of the story playing out that explains what's been going on is about to happen or when that awesome girl is about to get naked or when you're just about to disprove God... well maybe less of the latter. I've been experimenting with this a little and trying to force myself to stay asleep or if I do, try to go back and keep dreaming.

I've had one or two. I actually had my first one the night when I first read about the whole deal years ago, which is apparently not uncommon.

I had read about looking into mirrors, if it's not you in the mirror, you're probably dreaming.

So I went into my bathroom, and looked at a mirror, and it was some entirely different dude who looked back at me. So I figured I was in a dream, came out of the toilet, and tried to come up with something amazing as quick as possible. Seeing that I was like 16, it was sex, and shooting with an AK-47. I think I got the AK-47 part done, but never got to the intercourse, as I woke up.
I'm glad I had my priorities right.

I don't my dreams are like sketches they last around 30-60 secs and then change. Very rarely do I have a long dream but when I do it's kinda sexual.

All my dreams now are lucid. for 4 years, i trained myself to do this on my own. now, my dreams are razor-sharp quality, and i have full lucidity. i can fly and actually think in the dream. heck, i can even change the dream to what i want. t-rex coming after me? Bam! plasma cannon. take that, rexy.

Oh yes, I do believe in lucid dreams. But the only one I recall happened about 7 years ago... and it didn't turn out very well.
I wanted to fly but I just couldn't. So I tryed to materialize a hot girl but instead, I found myself inside a pyramid with a freaking ugly zombie mummy running after me. I found an exit through the top of the pyramid and when I jumped, I started to fly.

Also, it seems like as soon as I find out I'm dreaming, the dream starts to collapse. Everything starts to get blured and darker followed by me waking up pissed with myself cause I woke up. Wish I could control my dreams better...

oh, i love the sensation of lucid dreaming. i will often set my alarm clock to wake me up to early, just so i can experience it (it is triggered for me if i close my eyes after waking up slightly).

my best dreams have been lucid dreams.
