Like someone who hangs around the forums and doesn't post much or at all?

I have no idea what that could be like *roll eyes*

There's people on this forum who registered THIS MONTH with more posts than me (ok that's an exaggeration, but still...)

Also where's the poll option for "I am one!" Wouldn't it be neat to have an idea of how many lurkers are about, voting in polls but not actually making posts?

Often times I start writing out my responses only to realize that no one really cares to see my side of the argument anyways, and that my words no matter how logical will fall on deaf ears. Such is the beauty of the internet (and humanity in general).

Topic wise: I lurked for over a year, before I started posting on this forum. I don't see anything wrong with it. It is a good way of sizing up the rest of the posters.

I'd prefer a lurker to a kid that joins and starts posting the first day he comes to this site. The lurker will learn the ways of this forum without making more work for the mods, the kid that jumps right in will be one of those idiots that posts "FIRST!!!"
