I'm not talking about which one is better I mean which universe (or multiverse) would you rather be a Hero or Villain in?

Don't forget to add why.

For me, as much as I love Marvel I would say DC. DC has villains like Joker, what's the worse he's done? Beat a Robin to death and put a bullet in batgirls spine. Marvel has Magneto, that dude is nuts he wants nothing less then the complete extinction of humans, there's no way I'm going up against him, or Professor X.

Marvel because the average girl there is gorgeous! While the average from DC is just pretty :p

Kidding of course, BTW... well mate, DC has some stuff that would make magneto shiver, especially in his "Vertigo" label; i remember for example stripper joints in which the girls had to wear special medical equipment so the clients could see their insides while dancing(literally)... the deeper the better, and that wasn't even the flipped part of that comic -.-

Well at the very least he sexually assaulted her during that exchange, though it is heavily implied he actually had raped her.

I'm torn...Marvel has Rogue, X23, Pixie, Shadowcat... DC has Batgirl(s), Harly, Ivy, Catwoman...

Seriously though, I'd probably rather be in the Marvel universe, Xmen specificly. I really like the themes and way their stories tend to unfold, until they get into the more estoric or bizarre stuff.

This man set the standard of which all villains are judged by. Many supervillian tropes were started with Doom.

Someday all will end with Doom as well...

Outside of batman's most famous rogues gallery, lex luthor, and to a lesser extent Sinestro. Most of DC super villains are pretty fucking stupid. Marvel as a whole has more interesting and occasionally sympathetic villains.

Looking at the anti-mutant bigotry in the Marvel Universe, I'd rather exist in DC's. As for the question of Hero or Villain, Anti-Hero all the way...

Well, now that Barbara Gordon's back on her feet, I'd go with DC. I love her as Batgirl because she had Batman's skills, a mind just as sharp as his and I'm a sucker for a good looking redhead. Move over Dick, Tim and Damien. The bat family would be getting just a little bigger.

Oh yeah,I'd totally be Hero marvel so that my angst would at least make sense. I would be Thor since that's already my name and I look a lot like him. (well not as good of shape...)

Hmm.. interesting I never took it that way I just assumed he took the pictures as a way to push Gordon to insanity, but either way it's not nearly as bad as the mass genocide of the human race.

Oh and I think I would pick DC because they have a much...thicker line between good and evil. In the DC universe you are either good or evil, there is really no switching (to my knowledge) without something major like possession. There is also no one on the line of good and evil, with the exception of Jason Todd's Red Hood.

Compared to Marvel's track record of characters like Gambit, Deadpool, and Magneto

If I was a hero, Marvel, it's seems easier for an upcoming hero to get popular and find their place in the Marvel Universe and if you're a legacy character it's likely the original won't return. With DC, you might get erased by crisis or killed off to bring back an original character (yes I'm pissed off about Wally West).

I'd prefer to be a member of the Avengers than the Justice League, the Avengers has more of a family vibe and it's drawn from A-listers and lesser known heroes, it gives you exposure and a chance to shine. Also I don't ever want to be a universe with the Joker. Marvel heroes are also more likely to get paid if they work for government approved teams.

As a villain, it's a hard choice. Marvel Heroes are on the whole less powerful than DC, but they're more likely to kill you, plus there's the Punisher. DC has almost a revolving door prison system (especially with Suicide Squad), but at the same time I'd be stupid to want to go up against the likes of Batman, Superman or the Flash. I think I'd go with Marvel simply because I could join the Thunderbolts and pretend to be reformed.

So Marvel on both accounts.

Which is why I'm glad Vergil was not based off such a cliche (Yet effective) trope
To quote my boy Vergil!

"Might controls EVERYTHING! Without it you can't protect anything....let alone yourself!"

While I do give props to Doom for acting as a template for the Villain portrayal of Madara in which he's one big Manipulator. So yeah, I do kinda like Dr. Doom

Taking those pictures is probably sexual assault on its own.

I'd rather be in the DC universe, it seems to have fewer beings that pose a world or universe ending threat.

As a cop, I'm aware that in the legal sense it isn't. It's still FEELS like it though.

I would rather be in the Marvel universe, because I would feel like I'm in my element. Marvel was supposedly set apart from DC initially by having flawed characters who had to deal with their own lives and make a living, which is why is pisses me off a bit when toy manufacturers make stuff like a "Spiderman Helicopter". The 2099 series was even better at this, where most of the heroes were basically derelicts trying to escape the crime that surrounds them, and the police while dealing with the [real] agony of life in general. I can't relate to dimple-cheeked self-congratulating millionaires nearly as easily, and the comic I collected for the longest was Venom (though Ghost Rider 2099 was probably my favourite character, and Dark Dominion probably my favourite comic).

I'd probably go with Marvel. For whatever reason i just can't take DC heroes entirely seriously. Even when they're done well they just seem less human. Just a little too perfect. Marvel's characters make mistakes and live their lives as normal as possible.
