Marvel all the way! DC has Batman and......... well, that's about it. Marvel has what DC doesn't: street cred. You got heroes that have grit, realism and are violent. Teammates bicker, fight, and even betray each other from time to time. Marvel's story arcs are cooler than DC's. Reading through Civil War or Dark Reign was much more satisfying than DC's Brightest Day and Final Crisis, mainly cause Marvel didn't force me to read other comics that were related. None of that Galactic/Multi-verse crap that DC assumes you like. With Marvel, you have a very wide selection. You like the Sci-Fi? Try Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Supernova, etc. Grit? Wolverine, Punisher, & Daredevil would suit you just fine. Comedy, you say? Check out Deadpool, Marvel Zombies or the "What If?" series. Superstar teams? Too many to count, but the best one may be The Ultimates. What I'm saying is this: DC's writers(I'm looking at you, Morrison) are too cocky to write comics. Don't insult your audience by making them read a genre they don't like.
Thank you for reading this, I just wanted to get that off my chest.
