Yeah, Ashley's racism and everything annoyed me too. I wonder if character's personality or stances will change at all. Jack annoyed the hell out of me, she just tries too hard, everytime I talked to her I couldn't help thinking just shut up and quit whining for god's sake, I don't feel sorry for you, cheer up emo kid. But then again, at least she doesn's ask for anyone's sympathy. So I went with Miranda, spoiled perfect *****, but at least she was self-aware about it. Now I have no idea. But it's always been that way for me in Bioware games.

The hot one is always a fucking *****, the cute ones are either boring or too cute and young, the interesting ones are either disturbed or ugly, but it's all matters of opinion. Just once I'd like to romance a character coz I really like them...but kudos to Bioware at least for exploring different characters and moral values and putting them into their games.

I'd like a hyperactive salarian female, that'd be interesting. Oh and regarding Ashley's look, I think she looks ok, but not fitting the soldier role AT ALL. At least Aveline had a tough look that meant she wouldn't let men or anyone talk shit to/about her.

1. So, is she still a space racist? Because that made her more unattractive than anything physical, and a boob job won't do anything to make players forget it. Also, bit of an aside - her look in the OP picture seems a little too Miranda-esque. It worked for Miranda because of who she was and who she worked for ... but if Ashley's supposed to be a career military lady it seems a bit off.

Agreed. Liara looked amazing in LotSB. Her redesign was great. Still remained single in 1, though.

I found the white outfit they gave her in LotSB was a really good choice, white suits Liara very well. In ME1 I always put her in white armour because it looked so good against her blue skin.

Nah, they can't possibly fill Miranda's spot with Ashley. She doesn't have any of the abilities that made Miranda so useful. The ability to do both Overload and Warp made Miranda a must-have for every mission for me.
