My main complaint is that the sensitivity is high even on the lowest setting. While I prefer a lower sensitivity and definitely think there should've been a slider for it, it's not a huge deal and I'll get used to it. I am tempted to say that Normal difficulty is pretty hard, but I don't think that's a real complaint because you can just set the difficulty lower.

I agree the caps locking is over the top, but I understand the frustration. This is just how I felt when ME2 came out and all my fears about EA murdering Bioware and wearing its skin were realized. However Im long since past it, Mass Effect 3 has just been icing on the hilarious cake, what with all the Jersey Shore trolling by the devs and the ashley redesign shenanigans . . . and Rasta Prothean LOL.

Speaking of which...

Well, I don't like how everyone sprints like they have to take a crap. But, mainly because I find it too distractingly humorous rather than actually hating it.

As for the rest of the stuff, nah, nothing I really hate. I can't even muster up any bile about multiplayer anymore, suffice to say that it's fun with a friend in short bursts.
But I have my expectations lowered, I was disappointed in Mass Effect 2, largely because I hyped it up so much and because I absolutely loooooooooved the first one. Seriously, I know I've likely said this hundreds of times before, but I love it, my absolute favorite game.

At any rate, I don't expect the third installment to top the first one in my eyes, so I really can't be disappointed by it.

@Mass Effect 3 Rage!!!!

-'Is there anything that changed in ME3 that you don't like?'-

I voted yes, and here is why.

I am am absolutely insulted that they put the number 3 in the title. Who the hell do they think they are to add such crap! Way to jump on the band wagon of other titles released with the same number. I was a fan of the other games because it didn't have the number three in the title. I was positive that the lore had no number three in it, they even went so far as to flat out tell you that the Mass Effect series was either numberless, or had a two in it... now they up and crowbar in a number three there?!?! Way to break cannon. Bioware sucks now. Fuck you EA.

Remember when the games were great, and they didn't have the number three in the title? Those were the golden days, now it's all three shit.
At least they didn't call it Mass 3ffect. That's a sure sign of quality.

I'm just going to rephrase what you said to make you see the flaw in your reasoning.

"Half Life 2 Gripes:

-Steam Exclusive. I only buy PC games on Impulse, and I don't accept the practice of publishers like Valve forcing me to make an account with them just to play their single-player game."

I don't really like Origin either, but let's try not to attack EA for faults that we give Valve a pass on.

Look at the no's. Honestly I got so much slack for calling you guys fanboys, but am I wrong? You're telling me NOT ONE THING IN MASS EFFECT 3 HAS BEEN SOMETHING YOU DISAGREED WITH?

This. BY ITS VERY DEFINITION MAKES YOU A FANBOY ZEALOT FUNDY.
No. No it does not. It means that we agree with everything that Bioware has changed, and that, they have catered to the changes that we like. It does not make us a zealot fanboy or anything. Saying that Mass Effect had no flaws whatsoever would make us that. Please, you continue to go to every single Mass Effect 3 thread and express your discontent. We get it, you don't want it, fine, but we don't really care to hear it every goddamn time a Mass Effect 3 thread pops up. If you don't like the way the game is coming, then cut all ties to it, don't just sit there and whine that it isn't going your way.

Wait, what? EDI is getting a body now? I am not sure of how I feel about that... if it's just for fan service, then I am going to be very disappoint.

If you're talking about the dialogue options in the demo, that is apparantely because of memory constraints on the demo that they had to take it out, among other things like lowering the texture quality in the demo.

That changed...from what? I'm going to assume you mean "From Mass effect 2" So my answer is a happy No.

Thats not to say there aren't things in ME3 I don't like, though. I don't like the intro (for example), It explains nothing and left me completely lost even though I only recently played through both ME1 and ME2. I think I would understand what was happening *more* if i'd never played any Mass effect game before.

The only thing that really annoyed me in the demo was this forced sentimentality with the boy, and then that other kid in the latest trailer. I hope this isn't going to be a running theme throughout the actual game.

The combat is looking pretty sweet though.

Oh God, is Bioware really putting the ultimate nerd fantasy in Mass Effect 3?

I'm having Weird Science flashbacks.

EDIT. And is that Mr. Prothean on the right?

The only thing I don't like about ME3 is the new hacking. Stand there and match your hand up to the door? That is so boring. Did people really find hacking to be all that hard in the past? Change the way it is down with a new mini game then. Did people really get so bored and tired of the hacking that they had to go away with it all together. Oh and the camera doesn't follow you when you run so it makes things awkward.

I had to say yes, but only because I'm really not a fan of the new Ashley outfit. Everything else looks friggin awesome.

I actually didn't pre-order the Collector's Edition of ME3. I did, however pre-order the standard edition so I'm glad Bioware (or EA whatever) is releasing From Ashes day 1.

I would say yes, but I always take games as individuals instead of series. By itself, Mass Effect 3 is just fine. Is it better then ME2 or 1? Can't say yet, haven't played it much beyond demo. Just like Dragon Age 2, by itself, it's a great game, is it better then Origins? Hell no.

I am also not going to ever judge a whole game based off a short demo. Demo's seem more of a "Showing off gameplay" type of deal, and most games are more then just game play.

Damn it, I was late to the Zeel party! All the other Batman's are having bonding exercises and reminiscing about EternalNothingness while I'm left in the dust. I need to camp the forums, with the coffee and the jar 24/7 like Zeel for when a new ME3 comes up.

On topic: Any issues I have are nitpicks and possibly not a problem. The jump in difficulty, particularly as a vanguard, is because the demo was done badly. By giving you 4 weapons, they really increased the cooldown of the powers. I'm guessing 2-3 weapons will be used at any one time at live. I'm not certain that the opening is a 1:1 copy from the game; I remember reading that the character creation was cleverly implemented. And the textures were from demo size limits.

My main concern was the music really, since the composer changed. Then I heard this And my fears were laid to rest. So I'm cool with ME3 from what I know of it.

Of all things, I don't like the spike in difficulty. I play games for story and experience, not to get my ass kicked.

Easily one of the more minor issues.
Have you played the demo yet? They have something called Story Mode made just for someone like you. The combat is a cake-walk and the game focuses more on the plot and the characters.

There are actually three ways to play the game:

Action Mode: combat is intense and enjoyable for those that want that and all conversation scenes are merely cut-scenes with no dialogue options.

RPG Mode: the regular Mass Effect experience

Story Mode: all about the conversations, plot and dialogue options. Combat is easy. Probably what you would be interested in.

With all these spoilers flying around, I can't say Bioware is able to get me any more mad than your guys' rage threads. But I guess it's all good. There is but one thing in Mass Effect 3 that truly angered me (albeit to a small degree). It's not even a change; it's a lack of one.

They kept their Thermal Clip system. I really miss my Snowblind HWMP that was incapable of overheating. Is it too much to ask for effectively unlimited ammo again? You can keep the Power Cell system for heavy weapons, that's understandable. You can even contrive some half-baked explanation for its use in your new multiplayer, but come on. You couldn't switch it back for the campaign? Just for the basic four groups? I miss doing frivolous things like purposefully overheating my weapons on the Citadel without a care in the world.
