Wow, the male:female ratios are pretty skewed in the poll huh?

Whatever I read about 47% of gamers being female, it sure as hell doesn't apply to the internet haha. And to whoever says "well girls don't like revealing their gender online", the poll is anonymous silly! And it would still do nothing to explain the insanely huge gap.

1. Male
2. I voted in the poll, isn't that enough :S
3. Negative
4. I really have no clue
5. I don't think it has any impact lol
6. I've gone for extended periods without doing it, but only because I was too busy with other things.
7. Healthy of course! Proven n' stuff.
8. ...I don't remember :S

To be honest, the first time I did it to that one point was last week. Self-control and all that jizzjazz.
1. Male.
2. (See before reply comment) I put myself down for "never."
3. No
4. n/a
5. I do not know
6. Nope.
7. Well, it's not damaging, but I feel strange about it.
8. I'm still rather young since the act's discovery, so yeah...

Considering how many euphemisms I've mentally thought instead of saying the word are a notice of my immaturity of this subject, thus my awkwardness.

1. Male
2. Once, sometimes twice a day.
3. Nope
4. Last time I was in a relationship it was about the same.
5. Sure
6. It really doesn't have any tangible effect on my focus.
7. I'd need to do some more research, but I doubt there are many negative effects.
8. Not really

1. Are you male or female?
Female
2. How often do you do the deed?
maybe once or twice a week. Depends on when the mood arises.
3. Are you in a relationship?
Yes
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
I do it less
5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
Not really, never thought about it much before
6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
Not sure, I imagine it would increase my ability to focus. Being sexually frustrated tends to make my concentration levels dip abit
7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
In moderation it is totally normal and healthy. I mean unless your plucking the magic strings every hour of every day and if it is effecting your social life then there should be no problem.
8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?
Yes. To be honest I had never masterbated until i was around 20/21. I had alot of hang-ups about it in my younger years.

7. Health it reduces the chances of prostate cancer and get rid of stress
8. Has not changed. I got it down to a science.

1. Male
2. Dunno whenever I feel the need (between 1 and 5 times per week)
3. No
4. N/A
5. I haven't the slightest clue
6. I sometimes masturbate when I keep wandering from work to sexual thoughts so decresed masturbation = less concentration, maybe.
7. I would say healthy because otherwise the desire to artificially stimulate would have been removed by evolution.
8. depends on what you mean by "younger" (though it was almost 5 times a week constant while I was in school)

Fairly entertaining to read this xD

1. Male
2. Roughly once a day when I'm in the mood - however, if I feel it's getting too frequent I take a month off. No, I'm serious.
3. Currently not in a relationship.
4. Never been in a serious relationship, so I wouldn't know.
5. No vaild answer here either - I ain't even legally allowed to do the real thing yet >.=.>
6. I'd say it depends on the situation. It helps me sleep, but it does horrors to my motivation and work drive.
7. IT PUT HAIR ON CHEST. In all seriousness, it's a natural thing and I do know for a fact it's made my right arm stronger as well as improve my posture (I stand up while doing the deed).
8. Well, can't really say anything here either.

1. Are you male or female?
Male

2. How often do you do the deed?
Depends (mostly based on the answer below) but let's just say I get relief in the ballpark of 2-5 times a day.

3. Are you in a relationship?
Yes

4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
Less on days when I see her, the same on days when I don't

5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
Performance no, endurance definitely.

6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
I would say it increases my focus but also calms me down so I'm not as aggressive with getting shit done.

7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
Definitely healthy. It's been medically proven. That's also the reason I do it so much (apparently, looking at some of these other answers.) Just makes me feel better on the whole.

8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?
I didn't actually try it until I was about 19 because I was having sex and figured it would suck in comparison.

Well, this is one of the more interesting research threads I've seen on here...

1. Male.
2. 1-2 times per week to once per day. It fluctuates quite a bit.
3. Nope.
4. More sex means less masturbation.
5. Increased stamina I guess (if you're actively trying to last longer).
6. If I haven't in a while, I'll be less focused. After though I'm calm and focused.
7. There's some health benefits (reduced chance of prostate cancer and some other stuff).
8. Still have my teenage libido.

1. Are you male or female?
Male

2. How often do you do the deed?
This one varies quite a bit. Sometimes I go weeks without then sometimes its twice a day.
For the sake of simplicity I will go with 2 or 3 times a week.

3. Are you in a relationship?
Yes.

4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
Less, Not just because of the being sexual active part either; I feel my drive is lowered on an average level =/

5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
Defiantly, I find it can make a difference in night and day. Duration is significantly increased with.

6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
I wouldn't say focus is really an issue but, I find when I do the deed my mind wanders less.

7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
Healthy in both a mental and physical sense. Mentally I find that it helps a lot with stress and just has that "release" feeling to it. Physically its sort of calming and keeps me level, keeps that urge at bay which is always nice.

8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?
Defiantly when I was younger I felt as it was some kind of adrenaline rush, now that I have became more comfortable it is more of a tool to help keep me more grounded. My tastes for any kind of "help" in that area have also made drastic changes.

As for sexual disasters? Can't really say I have had any. Sorry.

1: Female

3: Yes. For 10 years.
4: Less. Far less often when I'm getting some on a regular basis.
5: Doesn't really make a difference? I think this question applies more to men than women (lasting times).
6: ??? Again, this must be a guy thing? Um... I sometimes masturbate when bored. Is that at all... helpful?
7: Healthy. Don't know about the things you listed for health benefits, but it keeps blood flow good in the area and makes me happy, and both are healthy.
8: Not... really? Other than frequency. And even that varied a LOT over the years.

Also, in response to someone talking about a woman masturbating during sex... I've seen that in porn, and it always looks really odd. People actually do that? I'm aware that I have an easier time achieving orgasm that some women, but damn. That's gotta suck.

1. Are you male or female?
Male
2. How often do you do the deed?
1-3 times a day
3. Are you in a relationship?
yes
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
Less depending on how much sex we are having, sex = not having to masturbate for a day or two.
5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
I like to think it helped, but I was a heavy masturbater before my first time so I have no on/off experiance. I would like to add that when I do masturbate a few hours before sex I tend to last longer, but it does not feel as good and my willingness to continue after finishing is alot lower. Because of this I try to not masturbate on days I might have sex.
6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
I tend to get more stressed and angry without release so it lowers my focus.
7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
Healthy, it helps me be less angry and lowers my stress. It also has made my hands able to move much faster which is great for when I cook.
8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?
I am much more calm about it now, when I was younger I tried too hard to hide it because I thought it was a bad thing to be doing.

1. Are you male or female?
Male
2. How often do you do the deed?
Never have, not because of moral issues Im completely fine with it, but I dont find the act itself very arousing and the thought of sitting in a room by myself watching two other people have fun is a little depressing, but mainly the first thing.
3. Are you in a relationship?
Nope and never have been
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
N/A

No different

most women struggle to achieve orgasm from anything but clitoral stimulation so clitoral stimulation during intercourse is an easy way to near guarantee an orgasm for the woman, to any woman who struggles to orgasm during sex i can only say that you are at least partially to blame if you refuse to help yourself along.
one of many reasons i refuse to date women who don't (or deny) masturbating

Oh what the hell.

HMS TMI requesting permission to dock.

1. Male.

2. Daily

3. Yes

4. About the same really. It's like having a cigarette when you wake up or having a beer with dinner. Oddly enough it's not something I do for the express purpose of arousal or gratification, more because it relaxes me and helps me sleep.

5. Never really thought about it. I don't imagine it matters. The emotions and sensations are mutually exclusive.

6. Decrease, like I said I kinda do it to wind down which insinuates that I'm probably a little too tightly wound already.

7. Healthy. It's known that some men will do it in their sleep in they aren't actively doing it wile lucid.

8. Don't know really, I don't keep a journal or anything.

1. Male.
2. On average, once a day. But some days I may do it twice, and sometimes I just don't do it for days.
3. A little bit of both. I'm single, but there's a girl in Canada I talk to that I'm interested in a lot. Obviously we can't have sex yet, but we do "Skype shows" with each other.
4. When I was with the only girl I've had sex with, I almost never masturbated. It was like a once a month thing.
5. The first couple of times I had sex, I literally could not finish. It was probably due to anxiety, but I also think it had to do with the trillions of sperm cells I let die that helped with that. I don't know if right before sex if it'd help with performance, but I do think doing it is a good way to train your body, especially for guys, in the ability to not prematurely ejaculate.
6. It helps me relieve stress, so I'd say it helps me focus. But that's only really if I'm horny, otherwise it won't "destress" me necessarily.
7. I think it's physically healthy, but I do think it can be mentally unhealthy if it gets to the point that you have trouble waiting to masturbate.
8. It's risen from when I was younger. Back then it was like a once a week thing; now it's once every day or two days basically.

Most women? I find that very hard to believe. I've never had trouble getting a woman off vaginally (with fingers or toys). So either I've only dated the lucky few, or "women can't achieve orgasm except from clitoral stimulation" should actually read "most men suck at sex".

Or maybe I'm a magical lesbian sex goddess. One of those three options.

1. Are you male or female?

male

2. How often do you do the deed?

it varies, I'd say about once per 10 days now

3. Are you in a relationship?

not a romantic one, no

4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?

I don't know, I've never been in a romantic relationship

5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?

I wouldn't know...

6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?

yes, but that varies too, and more than timing; if I've been thinking about it for a while, it's like a weight is lifted off me afterwards and I can focus again; if it was more of a spur-of-the-moment thing, it doesn't do much

7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?

IDK, I'm not a doctor

8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?

yes, it's less frequent; there were a few time spans where it was pretty much every day and sometimes twice a day (my record is three between waking up and sleeping and four in a 24-hour period)

No one has to answer any of these questions, if you wish you may skip questions or not answer any of them.
Also if you feel comfortable enough sharing it, you can tell your own funniest sexual story/disaster, just to keep this thread as entertaining as possible.

I don't have any funny ones, everything I can remember is either painful or pretty pleasant for me, and they're pretty much all a little weird and regardless they'd probably be awkward and unpleasant to hear or read about.
