Is there a subliminal message in the trailer for it?
I had a slight discussion with Jonny (painfull2006) about it but he said whatever it is moves too quickly?

Yeah i couldn't see anything significant, there where pictures of things, maybe story related images

There MUST be something in it or they wouldn't have given us the ability to pause it, increase the quality of the paused image and being able to zoom in

I DID find a teddy bear though! :O

I hope Infinity Ward splits apart from Activision... they use IW as a gateway for cash flow and rush their games to come out... you can't force art, as well Treyarch would finally fall due to the fact that they have to cling on to Activision because they aren't big enough and then neither Activision/Treyarch would have the rights to make games on IW's incredible game engines.

Good point, then we wouldn't see horrible outcomes like WaW without Infinity Wards seal of approval

I think Modern Warfare sold so well because it was fast paced, simple enough for anyone to pick up, and , most importantly, accessible to people of any playing style. Whether you like to run in letting off shotgun rounds or decapitate an opponent from 900 yards, there was a variety of weapons, add-ons and perks to choose from. Previous FPSs lacked this level of customisation and so played very similarly. I think WaW flopped because that is no longer new, as well as the horrendous pacing in campaign. As a result, Modern Warfare will probably be very good, but not as fresh as the original.

In order to stay afloat Treyarch would have to bow down to the almighty EYE DOUBLE YOU and would be forced to make half decent games with SOME creativity and originality rather than just stealing every idea from IW's previous success and then placing it back in territory they're comfortable with (WWII) instead of making a bold statement like IW and having it totally pay off in the end and have it recognized as one of the greatest games in FPS history.............. that's the world that I would like to someday live in anyways

Not some overpowered piece of tripe that can withstand 5 RPG's.
Actually, that's pretty underpowered, tanks in real life can take much, much more than that. A couple Challenger MBTs have reported taking as many as 70 RPG hits.

Then again, games always underpower things.
I feel the guns in Waw where overpowered

1 mp40 shot anywhere but the little toe was a kill :p

where as you could use a bolt action gun, shoot somone square in the back and it would just glance them

lol well I have a part time job, so I am not in need of some1 to buy a copy :p but I do like the sleeping on the couch part lol, how much is board? and about this adoptoin part? If adopted to I get to keep my bed, new tv and ps3?
i have a job too, but i like it when i don't have to spend my own money on things i need/want XD so, if adopted you get the option of your own room to store all your stuff in, but you still have to support yourself to an extent in regards of food, water and electricity usage.

if you don't want the room you can have the couch- but there's already a PS3 in the living room though, so your ps3 will have to go, unless it's the 60 gig version, in that case i shall sell mine and retain the funds to spend on a new TV for my own room.
but hey because i'm a nice parent i'll let you keep your new tv. it'd better be HDMI enabled though. I need a new telly in my living room. you can set it up there. any form of surround sound system you can donate to your new foster parent will be greatly appreciated also, after all, your room may be the living room, but its my house ;)
Yeah its the 60 gb version :) and bless it, its 2nd birthday was the 23rd o march :) and yeah the tv is a 37 inch hd tv from lg, no surround sound yet I am afraid :p
wow that's awesome as hell. i'm still stuck in the CRT-age.. it's a 12 inch CRT from Tevion, ALDI brand XP disgusting but cheap as chips. that would be an awesome telly to play Modern Warfare on! lol, no need to squint so hard to find snipers camouflaged in the grass.

Well it was still early days, i think its fair that it was a new technology still and they where just focusing on them not blowing up in there faces :p

A tank could withstand a lot more than 4 RPG hits
plus a tank in WW2 would over heat if it drove that fast and had the turret firing as well

The molotovs would have overheated it, maybe if the do put tanks in MW2 (I really hope not) then throwing a fire grenade at a tank would over heat it?

of cause its MODERN warfare they have probably fixed the heat problem and when are you ever going to get that close to a tank in real life? :p

Actually, one of the things i love so much about the treyarch side of Vehicles (not) is that the tank sheels for one don't seem to be able to go through a frikin wall that is the equivilant of Balsa wood. For any of you that don't know, Balsa wood is so soft you could snap it with your hands at the age of about 10.

Wow, seven pages.. guess this shows that I'm not the only one starting to get real excited about MW2... it's pretty much certain to be the biggest game of the year. It's the one I'm most excited about anyway!

Yeah, defiantly going to be my game of the year as well, but there aren't really that many great games coming out this, there are some that have potential but only really MW2 that I KNOW will be great :) (if they don't put tanks in it)

Well, i don't know about the gameplay, but i do know that on level will take place in rio de janeiro, another level near (or inside a castle) and it will involve americans vs. russians.

And infinity ward are obviously making a brand new franchise out of it.
