Get money, use it to influence things and gain power, with that much influence you'll get attention paid to you so, fame.

Get Fame, people's admiration or like of you means you have influence and power, use your power and influence to earn money.

Get power, use your power to get money, draw attention to yourself for fame.

Makes no difference to me.

Okay, fine, obeying your rules, money.

Well for the sake of the question assume you have power but no one knows you do and you can't use it to get money. If you could have all 3 with power it would be a crappy question.
Right. Well in that case I choose money. Money makes the world go round.

Agreed with the general reaction in this thread that power and money are hard to separate completely.

Someone with power CAN choose to live modestly though.
Money doesn't necessarily make a man powerful, especially if we're talking millionaires instead of billionaires, but it does helps a bit for influencing some small people around you.

Fame without money usually means a discovery after the artist is dead and little recognition and appreciation when still alive.
So fame, without reward is definitely out.

It becomes a choice between power behind the scenes, maybe from some computer basement, or luxury.

Consider that the power to change a little of the world, doesn't mean you cannot screw up and make things worse. People are stupid and concentration of power is usually bad.

So power may even fail from the altruistic POV, while the rich man can still give to charity, money wins on all fronts.
