...so if i choose witch what spells would i know? naturally i would always like to be treated like a god, so i chose fire fox, but i would like to know magic too...vampires, werewolves &sucubuses are too if-y they have too many rules and cons that over seed the pros, don't sucubuses(i know i spelled it wrong) have to eat souls? honestly i don't really6 care for souls...too salty. And werewolfs are cool but they only turn into wolf monsters 1s or 2s a month and thats not enough for me! and the turning into said wolf monster usually looks too painful. vampires are ok, but i do like the occasional sun lit, and garlic, and i enjoy running water so i wouldnt like not being able to cross it. demons would be ok, not painful or have too much rules, but demons usually are ruled by stronger demons or a god type person. i don't even know what a lamia is so i can't say if i do or do not want to be one of them...
uh... wow. any way. clearing things up time:

Vamps cannot be hurt by sun.
vamps cannot be hurt by garlic.
vamps are only short-circuited by water; their powers fade for a little then return at full. also, adding a herb negates the sapping power.

werewolves transformation in not painful, and they can transform whenever they want. its just that they are more powerful when the moon is full. dont even pick lamia, i put it up there as a joke, im surprised someone even picked it.
No, it WOULD be painful to rapidly transform. VERY painful. Vampires die in the sun, and from garlic, AND they don't show up in a reflection. Stop reading Twilight.
Here here!

Hecatonchire. Old Greek mythology monsters that predated the gods of olympus. They had a hundred arms and fifty heads, and could lift a mountain in each hand and throw them with ease. Athena brought one of them to *****-slap the Gods that were plotting to overthrow Zeus.
Did they succeed?
At one time the Olympian gods were trying to overthrow Zeus but were stopped when the sea nymph Thetis brought one of the Hecatonchires to his aid, him whom the gods call Briareios but men call Aigaion ("goatish" Iliad i.403).

Sorry, not Athena. But still, woot.
You hurt my brain.
Quoting the Iliad has that effect on people, I guess (admittedly, the line was taken from wikipedia, but still)

How about a pixie werewolf with blood red hair and silver eyes and dark skin? Hahaha. I had a character like that in a game one time. A friend said I should have made her hair pink but that wasn't an option.

If I could be a monster I would like to be Unicron the planet eater. Or a messenger of death.

Succubus... The whole having sex with men in their dreams and steal their energy seems kinda cool.

Just I can't have sex with anyone else apart from the boyfriend ¬_¬
Damn, I voted wrong. I didn't realise this was what a succubus does until I read your post...

I voted vampire, because the vampire in Being Human was pretty cool and I have no real interest in any of these "monsters" (Which, as a side note, I disagree with as a title). But yeah, either vampire or succubus.

What's with all the support for the big- headed Octopus with dragon wings?
Looks like something out of a low- budget Japanese B-movie.

I'd obviously be a Homunculus.
who wouldn't want to be an artificial Human/Lifeform thingy.
and in the context of FMA:
Never Age
Have A Special, Unique Power
Survive Grave Wounds, And Heal Almost Instantly.

hard to beat one of those.

I'd be a Vampire. I've always wanted to be one.

Oh, and TWILIGHT! Mwahaha.

Seriously though, the books were actually really good, as I found out when my fiance got sick of me getting so negative about them and forced me to read the first one, at least. I'm now on my second read through of the whole series. Hell, I've even read the unfinished manuscript for the fifth book. But hey, they do have that whole love thing on the go in them, and I'm a hopeless romantic. But, there's still a good amount of gore it, in places.
