I honestly think that Red Steel 2 did a good job with the motion controls on the Wii, but most other games are poorly thought out or take the Microsoft and Sony approach of having the game in a third person perspective so instead of immersing you into the game (which I'm almost certain was the idea in the first place), pulls you out of the experience and hit you around the head with the knowledge that you are an idiot that is standing in his room swinging about a piece of plastic (or waving your hands about with Kenict) as he watches an avatar preforms the exact same actions with a greater sense of style. So past sword swinging and possibly spell casting, there is very little that you can do in the way of improving a games experience with motion controls.
