I wouldn't buy it even if it were for the normal price of 800 points. It's only a few multiplayer maps.

Still, congrats to Activision for taking advantage of people's idiocy.

Ahahahahahaha.

Paying for DLC is a no-no. Especially when your first game didn't, and the second one is both charging for it, but also repackaging maps from the first game.

And charging 1/4th of the price of the game itself no less? That's a bit optimistic about both the quality and re-playability of the maps there Activision.

I'll probably buy it. Sure the game gets frustrating sometimes but, as someone has already said, when it gets good it gets really good. Plus more maps means its less likely I'll be playing in Overgrown or as I call it "Worst Fucking Multiplayer Map" and plus they're adding Vacant and I fucking love vacant!

I plan to download it and play it on LAN using AlterIWNet.

Winnar!

By the way, what's special in this one?
You get to murder people in a carnival. I think that's cool. I think the DLC maps have better design to them then the original ones. The originals are too influenced by Activision. But, since IWs lead map designer left and went to Respawn, I would not expect anymore outstanding maps from them. Vacant and Strike are being added in as well. But no titles, emblems, callsigns, weapons, gametypes, etc. Fucking Activision Nazis.

I do ocassionaly enjoy the odd game of MW2, even if thoughts of slaving away to Prestige 10 have now faded from my mind. But spending another 1200 points on a couple of maps now seems a bit ridiculous and I ain't really into MW2 as much anymore to justify forking out for them.

I could pick up another Arcade game off Live for that many points. What one, I don't know, but would probably still be a better deal. Maybe I'll save the ones I have now for part one of Sonic 4. Cos that's going to be great, obviously....

Though these maps do look much better than the first pack, and it's hard to pass up on something made of win like Vacant (*drool*), there's no way it's worth 1200 points. IF they drop to something more reasonable, then I'm in. Until then, Activision can GTFO.

Every F***ing map on MW2 is basically the same. A few buildings. It's a horrible game, BUT OH LOOKIE THERE IS A CARNIVALL MAP??!?!? YESS !!!!111!!! No. If you want a circus/carnival map play timesplitters. A GOOD game.

Like the first map pack, I won't give so much money just for a few maps.

I'm buying it. I feel like a complete whore for doing so, but damn it, I'm not going to be "that guy" in my group of friends, who is preventing everyone else from playing the new maps.
Exactly why I caved and got it too.

The maps are really good, much better than Stimulus. Carnival is the best COD map I've played yet.

And it's still the best game ever for private matches.

But the buyer's remorse is still strong...
