I name things messing about, then totally forget what I called them and name them something else.

One or two things have stuck but that's because they are in jokes within my friends now.

I name almost everything bob so it can get a bit confusing but its fun when people are around and I start asking for bob and I keep getting them to hand me lots of different "bob's"

My blowup doll is named Betsy.

Seriously, my computer is an 'old piece of shit'.

I refer to my car as "The Galloping Ghost" or simply "The Ghost".

My DPMS 24" scoped AR-15 I refer to as "Scout".

My main Chef's knife is named Dee-Dee, my backup is Beethoven, my cleaver's Amadeus, and my car's named the Chefmobile. Also, the ovens in the kitchen have somehow become John, George, Ringo, and Mick, so yeah, I think some people just find it natural to name certain things, especially if you grow attached to them, even if they're inanimate. It's just a way of identifying something that has a personality of sorts, if you want to look at it that way.

I name my car. And everyone else's cars. The first thing I do when I get in a friend's car is ask if it has a name. And then when said friend inevitably says no, I start thinking of one.

My car is a small gay Korean man named Lee.

I may have to downgrade my computer just so I can start using that

I call my laptop 'Ezio', my Wacom Bamboo tablet 'Altier', my second gen. iPod shuffle 'Bawb the diepod' (Yes, purposefully misspelled), my Urahara hat 'Jezebel', my stuffed bear 'Ted', my pinstripe fedora 'Godfather', my cowboy hat 'Tex', my drawing book 'Bible Black' and that's all I can think of at the moment. So yeah, I do name a lot of my inatimate objects. Now that I think of it, I need to start naming the rest of my hat collection and my other drawing books as well.

I name everything I see by reflex (not even habit). Even non-everyday things.

Short list!:
Computer is Skadi.
A piece of wire is Jeremy.
A plastic cup I use sometimes is Calvin.
My left arm has a title, Steampunk Wizard.
The blanket I put over my computer sometimes to keep out glare is Sylvia.

So yes.

Also I can name anything, it is a gift. OR PERHAPS A CURSE? Or maybe just annoying.

My clarinet is named Frederick. Which was probably a bad choice of gender, considering that it's an instrument one must blow into...
