I am an American with a French and Taiwanese background. How's THAT for variety!

I'm American with a Turkish background.

I am an American with a Spanish/ Irish, British, Dutch background

I know one other British guy did it on here, but why do most Americans always seem to list all the nationalities in their background?

I mean, this is like 3 of 4 or 5 Americans that commented , and yet the others are mostly British and only one has said their heritage.

Why?

OT: I'm British by the way. English specifically.

I know some one who is that mix, but I do live in Finland
