I never got why Double Agent and Conviction aren't on the PS3, it's never been an exclusive before.photog212 said:If they release this or Conviction for PS3 I'll check it out.
Does anybody know if they plan a PS3 release?

You sure we played the same game?Janus Vesta said:I hated Double Agent (360). There were too many glitches and bugs. I got 100% on every level of Chaos Theory without so much as breaking a light. In Conviction it's literaly impossible to avoid killing on ANY level. That's just bad.JourneyThroughHell said:So, let me get this straight? They give you a good stealth game with lots of sneaking (that would be Double Agent) but the killing-less sneaking makes you people unhappy.
Then they give you a less-stealthy but more secret agent-like game with lots of killing and badassery. And you're unhappy.
Well, alrightey.
I'm really looking forward to this.
Umm, if you really want to, you basically can get through Conviction without killing/touching anyone - it's just that the game is not really fun that way.Janus Vesta said:It wasn't as free as Thief or MGS but it WAS stealth. Hell it's easier to shoot your way through MGS than it is in Splintercell (except Conviction >.>). In every Splintercell up to Conviction you could go the whole game without killing anyone.JourneyThroughHell said:But that didn't have the JBA missions, did it? I think only the next-gen versions had them.
And, yes, actually, I can understand why you would want a stealthy Splinter Cell but Splinter Cell was never that much of a stealth game to begin with, imho.
Well, technically, they both had the same basic storyline - however, with different missions and huge character alterations.Amnestic said:Hmm, you appear to be right, and the Wii version was the one bundled with the Xbox/PS2/GC while the 360/PS3/PC was another version. I wasn't aware of this.
Intriguing. Dunno how the Gen-7 stuff played then. It seems that Gen-6 was all "flashback" while Gen-7 was played out in the present. What a weird choice to make as far as differences go.
