BioShock 2... That's what I'm getting. I'm scared to be excited for it, though, but hopefully they didn't turn it into another generic shoot-em-up with a bigger focus on multiplayer than a story...

If you like God of War series why not Dante's Inferno?

I know I'm picking that and AvP up this month.

I have the God of War Collection for PS3 that I want to play through before I pick up GoW III (plus I'm sure there will be a GoTY edition some time this summer and I enjoy supporting new IPs - Dante's Inferno being that).

I'm waiting to hear about Bioshock 2...playing as a big daddy never really appealed to me.

Indeed, Dante's Inferno is exactly like God of War in terms of gameplay. However, the setting is even more appealing to me, and even though DI is a clone, God of War is not exactly the worst genetic template to work with...

The new AvP is coming to X360, PS3 and PC. Personally I'll go with the PC version - I've played AvP2 to death and I can't imagine playing these games on anything but PC.
The game is slated for release on February 23rd if I'm not mistaken. Check out some of the trailers, they're pretty wild.

I've actually never played an AvP game before. Do they have good single player modes? I'm asking since I don't play online.

I'm not guaranteeing anything, do some research on the prominent features first; I'm just saying that if they stick with what they've done until now, it's not going to be lacking in the single player department. I'm taking the fact that the developer is the same who made the first AvP as a good sign.

Let's hope for another FFX. I've been trying not to go see the Japanese thoughts on the game but no, I'm holding out until March.

They call the skill system something else but it sounds like it's pretty much the same thing:

Also I have to say that I wasn't too impressed with where the story seemed to be going either. But the combat looks fast paced and engaging, so I'm expecting that part of the game to be fun.

And I don't even know anything about the story. I just heard that it doesn't go anywhere or advance for something like 20 hours.

I also heard the main character (Lightning I think?) is like a female Cloud. That's bad news for me since I hate Cloud and FFVII

Also, the box art for it is fucking ridiculous.
