Yep. Things like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Rise of the Triad, Mechwarrior, etc etc.
90s was when music got shit so thats the only thing I don't like about it. (Well, 80's/90's)

TV and films definitely hit their peak in the 90s. However, I'd argue that the nostalgia people have for games from that period is slightly misplaced.

I'll admit, that overall, the 90's kinda sucked. It wasn't all bad though. Gaming was pretty good... So yes, me, being born in '93, feel that the 90's are pretty nostalgic.

I "came of age" in the 90s, and (although my own ignorance prolly had a lot to do with it) everything felt a lot more hopeful back then. Things didn't seem so dire. Of course there was plenty of nasty shit behind the scenes, but I enjoyed the Clinton era and the internet explosion and the surface-level exuberance of it all. As far as music, "grunge" was there when I needed it to be, and it faded away right on cue as well. And all the best rap/hip-hop was made in the 90s, IMO. So yeah, I'm nostalgic, but I'm not kidding myself: the world was still the world in the 90s, but as a wide-eyed American teenager, it was an optimistic time to grow up in.

Maybe it's just my 90s PC-sensibility, but that's not cool, man. Keep your fuckin' bigotry to yourself, mkay?

I actually remember the 90s, since I was 8 when they started. I remember a lot of cool cartoons (Gargoyles and the Tick ruled), some neat games (Playstation was born in the 90s), and a ton of good music was produced that decade.

Late eighties, early nineties, moving out of cock-rock into grunge and so on, in certainly something I'm nostalgic for. Fall of the degenerated workers' states of the Warsaw Pact... not so good for a great number of people, in terms of the effects of transitional economies. Arse-end of the Tory government in the UK, not so good. So basically, it's just the legacy of the 70s repeating on us in terms of Neil Young and lo-fi punk and hard-rock bands leading to Grunge.

Oh, and Doom, the first three Resi games... the Dreamcast?

Pokemon and Medabots are nostalgic for me and my friends. Why yes, we are 90's children, but it's still our child he and even though we're not far past it, we still look back at it and smile from time to time.

I thought I was the only one who played RotT!!
I LOVED that game!

Dog mode was awesome.
Thirded. Or Seconded, depending on where you read this from.

ROTT was amazing. I came to it by going to a school run by nuns who thought we should probably have a computer, but didn't know anything about them, so they hadn't removed Doom, ROTT, Wolfenstein 3d, and a bunch of old Apogee games. Which were awesome. The only thing we ever did in class related to the cole computer in the school was me teaching other kids to use MSPaint. :p

I miss my game boy, and game boy pocket so much, those were the days of handheld gaming in the 90s.

Edit - Forgot about my game gear, was pretty good, but didn't like it more than my game boys.

No. The 90s and the 80s both remind me of dirty, cheesy cartoons, lame fashion trends, and boring, bad music. Give me the 70s, 60s, 50s, 40s, 30s, 20s anyday. Hell, even the 1880s.

Well, I was born in the nineties and yeah I'm nostalgic towards them. I grew up with the Sega Genesis and while it may have came out sooner it was still my main gaming system until I got a Gamecube. Plus some of my favorite music is from the nineties.

Being born in 1991, I very often have nostalgia attacks when I rewatch old series and movies from those times.

Cartoons and video games were at their best during the nineties. There's probably a good amount of nostalgia in that statement.

I was born in '89 so I wasn't fully engulfed by '90s culture. From what I remember though, the '90s sucked. There were idiotic boy bands and overrated pop divas running around and there was the plague of bullshit "teen" dramas like 90210 and Dawson's Creek that brainwashed far too many. Also, most of the movies weren't really that good. Lest we forget the general incompetence of world leaders at the time with all the genocides and horrifying civil wars going on and no one doing anything about it.

The only good things I can remember were Pokemon, the Simpsons, the N64, the PS1, and the Bulls dynasty.

I may be wrong here, but I think that the '90s mostly sucked.
