Poll: No Badges For Yahtzee!!!

I think that some badges were made to better the website like the ones that encourage good posts but I'm not a big fan of making badges just for self-promotion.

Rebeca Meyers Muses, she's talented and also easy on the eyes but I think that the badges you get for only seeing one or two shows is like there trying to throw her some extra attention (She deserves more attention but they should move the section links links up towards the top on the main page so more people can check it out instead of making badges)

Am I saying this just because I think she's good looking, partially, But this also applies for ZP, and all of the other ones that I really don't like/care about.

I was under the impression the new badges were used to advertise shows on the Escapist other than Zero Punctuation.

I have seen this actually quoted somewhere after the new badges came in so my money is on this reason

Can we make an "I don't care." option? Because honestly, I don't care either way. Don't get me wrong, I love ZP and the escapist but I don't honestly care about the badges at all. I like some more than others but I just don't care about them. I don't see any reason not to implement them but then again, I also can't see any reason to implement them either. I guess what I'm trying to get across here is that I want to see a neutral reaction.

nah, half the reason some people visit the site is to watch zero punctuation. so adding badges would mean that A: everyone would have them in no time as zp is one of the biggest things on this site thus rendering them redundent and B: they would draw even more attention away from the other shows

Because they shouldn't take his opinion to salt, he is funny and enjoyable to listen to but he goes over the top with what he says. I've played/tried a load of games he mentioned and those some things he hated didn't bother me like he went off about. People need to relies these "reviewers" just post there opinions, so these guys who go on saying their review is shit because they didn't give it a 10 or a 9. Or the ones who say it's awful may be awesome for someone else.

Alright. I'll admit some stuff here. 1.) I think the site is fine on it's own and I wouldn't lament the loss of the badge thing all together. Achievements/Trophies/Badges are the bane of my existence because I have some primal urge to get them all. I don't know why. The Escapist gave us badges and there needs to be ZP ones. If they were just intending to use them as advertisements then thats what they should have called them. Unfortunately they called them badges. 2.) I only started a push for ZP Badges because I got dialogued into Galactic Boredom in Dragon Age so lets not get in anyones Kool-Aid about their ponies, kittens, or need to horde badges.

What possible worth could it have? It's not like you achieved anything by earning it.
