For me the most noticable is MiracleOfSound's avatar, because it's Soundwave, and Soundwave is teh uberawesumnes!!1!1 He suffered a short period of confusion in which he changed his avatar, but me and some other user were able to convince him to change it back. Yay! ^^

Other very noticable ones are those of OnyxOblivion, Hubilub and Neonbob.

I'm not really a fan of too much animated pics in a forum, but SuperMse's Kirby is just Awesome, always loved that lil ballthingyguy.
What i find notable is something not just copied out from some comic/anime/game and with at least a little effort of customization
