Poll: P.E.T.A?

I checked the search bar and didn't see any threads like this one but it might have already been done.
I hate P.E.T.A. from the stories I heard about them as well as almost everyone on the Escapists. (It'll be hard to deny this fact by the amount of hate thrown at them in threads). But I have to ask, have anyone seen a P.E.T.A member? There is a whole load of propaganda thrown about them but when I read the threads about them on the escapist I never read anything about any of us encountering any of them.

P.E.T.A. seem to be like The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They have these massive shows / publicity stunts, but you never actually meet a fan / member.

I met one from New Zealand, which surprised me in Australia (i didn't know there were any down here). Was an arrogant, self-righteous dick spouting pompous rhetoric from a street corner in Darling Harbour (Sydney). Ended up 'being asked to leave' after he began abusing meat-eaters in a nearby cafe. I don't like them.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. They're your standard "Don't hurt the animals, we love them" group, but they actually kill more than they save. And they have incredibly stupid publicity stunts, gathering hate from much of the world as well as being incredibly hypocritical in their actions.

Famous stunts include:

• Throwing blood at fashion models wearing fur.
  Asking The Pet Shop Boys to change their name to The Rescue Shelter Boys
  Wanting fish to be renamed "Sea Kittens" to stop people eating them.
  Sending Barack Obama a fly trap.
  And many more...

But anyway, no. Almost no one has seen a member. Look here for people's opinions on P.E.T.A.
