The state of Islam currently is the state that Christianity was at one point. They will grow out of their violent tendencies, and move to peaceful means as Christianity did. Yes, there are many sects of Christians who don't agree. At one point, people killed eachother over it. Now, they don't (for the most part). It will take some time, but the problem will resolve itself.

people there are fighting over things that happened hundreds if not thousands of years ago it aint gonna stop because the US trys to stop it.
They really aren't. Probably things from a little a bit before the 1920's was the reason it started.

That is if you're referring to Israel vs other Middle East nations, which I'm thinking you were. If you mean conflict in general in the region, then yeah, its been going on for thousands of years, but where in the world hasn't it?
no i'm refering to the sunni/shi'it/kurd/other/jew/christian wars that are going on mostly in Iraq with their civil war split between primarily sunnis and shi'its who are fighting over when one killed the other's leader and then the guys with the dead leader killed the other guys leader. That happened over 1000 years ago!!!

Islam has NOTHING to do with the problem.

The problem is the culture. There has never been even an attempted democracy over there until America decided "Hey, Iraq wants democracy!". It's always been dictators and kings and tyrants, for all of history. It's also been full of conflict that has nothing to do with religion.

The "issue" with Islam is the same issue with Christianity and all other religions. People use it as an excuse to take things to the next level and go kill people. These people do it from their culture and just use their religion as an excuse. Were Christianity dominant in the region, they'd use that as their excuse.

And to think, all the problems described would all go away with a communist revolution.

The middle east is still currently locked in a medieval type war between the two muslim factions. Because of this there will always be war. Catholics and protestants dont like each other but they dont fight to the death in wars with terrorists much anymore like in the 1500s'. I wish this wasnt so for the poor middle-eastians but whenever theres a sunni country there always seems to be shie...shei..she... the other muslim group terrorists and visa versa
poor civillians

There's always going to be at least one region on the planet where everyone hates each other and there's a war. That current hotspot is the middle-east. It'll solve itself within time.

Peace is impossible in the ME.

OP: And you realize that Muslims [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim] are those who follow Islam?

Islam is the root of all the problems and I'm not talking about the jews. Islam is a hate-religion that teaches martyrdom to children, wife-slavery and so many other heretical tenets. If Islam didn't exist, the odds of achieving peace in the ME would DRAMATICALLY increase.

Didn't get that one? Simple.

It's the delusion of suicide-bombing yourself to "72 virgins in Paradise" and that "Allah wills it". Islam is too prejudiced to ever be considered a peaceful religion and it is fundamentally flawed on so many levels. Now if the ME turned Buddhist, that would really bring unshakeable peace to the ME.
