Is it possible?
I'm thinking it is very highly unlikely, and honestly, the cause of all the problems in the Middle East can be summed up in one word, Islam. Keep in mind, I have nothing against Muslims, just Islam. It is the root of all the problems there, violence against secular Governments, suicide bombings in residential areas, persecution of the Christians, women and especially Jews.
Wow, I see it now - there's me thinking that killing 100 Palestinians per Isarael killed kinda evened the blame out, but no, now I see! Oh, and bottling up them up to exclude them from medical supplies, sufficant food supplies, and the material to even rebuild their blown up homes.

I see almost no solution here, negotiation is not an option because fundamental Muslims will fight anything that doesn't exactly fit with Islam(I.E Education of women, other religions, secular government) the only way I see this ever stopping is that extremely stable secular governments are established, and they teach moderation and tolerance to students, but this requires support from powerful nations like America, The UK, ect, and that makes the situation worse, for the short term at least, and chances of this working are not very good.
What are your thoughts?
I think that whilst people focus on blaming one side over the other, this conflict will only get worse. Sure the fundamentalists haven't helped, but its not like the Isaraels have been helpful at all either. Add to that, the USA's apparently unconditional and unwavering support for acts that increasingly look like genocide and I have to wonder if peace is even possible.
To get peace, foreign nations need to commend and not support EITHER SIDE; whenever a Palestian blows himself up to kill Isaraels, it should be commended, but when the Isaraels bomb, shoot, or just send tanks into Gaza that has to be commended by the world too, INCLUDING THE USA.
