The only reason the "I'd rather go naked..." campaign worked (meaning only that it got people to look directly at it for a moment) was because people knew the faces there. It wasn't because it had naked people, but because it had naked celebrities. This is not that.

They'd be much better off actually starting up a porn site, and using the proceeds to fund PETA activities.

They know that the "rather go naked than wear fur" ad campaign wasn't well received, just highly public, and then they went on to work with playboy. I was actually just reading a response by a feminist blog (the tempered kind, not the crazies) about how PETA seems to be doing everything it can to "help" animals while perpetuating the image of women as sex objects. It's actually worth a look since it brings up a nice point that why are they naked in a sexually charged way rather than just cold?

Peta pornsite, I have to admit, reading the title I really thought they was going to be publishing bestialities clips, to show that we can live and love with the animals instead of eating them.
So when I read the article and it turned out that it would just be normal clips with random "do not eat animals, you monster" segments thrown in(wonder how many ppl are going to skip right next to the next sex act) I got disappointed.
