Photobucket has really started to piss me off. It deleted pictures I had up from a long time ago that weren't disturbing or lude in any way, shape or form. I had 50 pages worth of funny pictures. Now I have 4.

Photobucket has only ever deleted stuff that deserved to be deleted from my account, so I can't sympathise, sorry

Technically, yes. But I doubt a lot of it would interest you since about 70% of it was screencaps from gay porn to spam people with

Maybe it's because you uploaded 500 photos at once. They may have viewed it as some kind of spam.

i handt have any problems either, tough i hadnt uploaded anything remotely offensive or over 5 pics at a time.

I did have several pictures removed of my at my costume party. Apparently I was showing too much cleavage to be considered a PG rated green fairy. Yet apparently the image of one of my friends with a lit sparkler through his nipple piercing hole was totally okay. Go figure.

It's been good for sharing everyday pics with my american in-laws though, so I can't really complain.

Something tells me the first photo was staged and that the cocaine is just flour or something, the composition and colour coordination just seem too good, I actually like the photo.
On topic, nope, I've never had anything removed from photobucket, not that I've put anything up that would warrant moderation.

This could be true , but they are still slowly removing more and more over time. I really do feel like I've been singled out for some reason at this point.
I was down to 100 images when I got up this morning. I selected 94 carefully, all ones I thought there was no reason to remove and uploaded them just now, we'll see what happens.

The only thing I really hate is the "bandwith exceeded" crap.

The first picture is inauthentic (photoshopped).

- The 'blood' on her nose is actually a color burn.
- Her 'sunken' (predominantly left) eyes have been burn / darkened artificially.
- No coke user is THAT BAD at rolling a bill - it won't even work.
- Cocaine constricts pupils, hers are dilated.
- The 'cocaine' on the table would have been a ludicrously expensive purchase and more than adequate to provide a lethal dose to an experienced blow user, little less some tiny emo bint.

Blah. I realize most people on here aren't too fond of drug users, but someone's got to agree with me that at least they're not as inherently ridiculous as 'fake drug users', who think it's cool and posture, but won't even commit to the genuine article.

Has anyone had an account on your IP address? If so they may have violated the terms of use and gotten your IP blocked. Might be a stretch but it's a possible explanation.

Could you post some of the banned pictures here? Maybe theres something your missing in them, or maybe Photobucket are just dicks? It could be either.

I've only ever had one out of the couple hundred imgs that I've uploaded deleted so I dont know what to say, maybe create a new account or dont upload so many at a time?

Has anyone had an account on your IP address? If so they may have violated the terms of use and gotten your IP blocked. Might be a stretch but it's a possible explanation.

This ip address should be clean, I am the only one that uses it directly, and due to some local work on the cable lines in my neighborhood I was actually assigned a new one just recently. So even if your thought was accurate it just doesn't make sense. It seems to me if I was ip banned or flagged somehow it would have been much more difficult to create a new account in the first place.

IP banning is horribly ineffective anyhow, anyone that's ever been a forum mod or a site admin knows that much.

Anyhow, as of this moment the 94 uploads I made earlier today have not been messed with. So maybe whatever mod or app that was deleting my stuff has moved on to someone else.

I understand the need for some level of filtering of content for a site like that. I just don't understand why I was singled out, and why many of the things deleted weren't offensive or amoral at all. I'm really at a loss how a picture of a baby ferret (he was really cute too) constitutes a violation of their policy.

I also had the version of this with the [email protected] Tm at the bottom (can't find that one at the moment) alongside this image with it cropped out, they left this image but took the trademarked one. Apparently they don't want me crediting Maddox.

I have yet to experience Photobucket. I suppose i should get on that sometime soon...
