I usually name my characters Asshat. Or when playing Zelda games, naming Link "I say" is pretty cool.. till the novelty wears off..

when i first play it i gove the character my name but eventually i just leave it

In a pokemon game I named a scyther "emo"

It was funny to me when I attacked with "cut"

Emo used Cut!

I can very rarely resist the opprotunity to rename Link's horse "Your Ass" in Twilight Princess , for only that one line from Ilia that you can tweak with.

"Hey there, Link! I washed Your Ass for you!"

yes I usualy name my characther Retroboy and my rival a name that yahtzee uses in name entry systems (if I where to post it I would probally get banned)

Heh, Actually I've been naming my characters that way before I started watching Zero Punctuation.

Sometimes. Usually I'll just keep the default names, but if I'm replaying a game I might change their names. Its never anything silly though, I don't really go for abusing the name-changing system.
