As for the starter... I actually hated all 3 Gen 6 starters (though I have since warmed up to Greninja because of Smash Bros), so going from that to finding all 3 of Gen 7 having their own unique charm is an odd feeling. If I had to pick on impulse, I'll give the Sealion some love because it reminds me of my puppy.

After thinking about it some more, I think I'm going to go with Rowlet. Pretty much to just get my flying type out of the way so I can open up my party to another type and knock out two useful types with one stone.
