No, because I feel like I wasted the day if I do. Then again, the latest I've ever slept was about 10:30am. Staying asleep past 8:30 is usually what I can "sleeping in" because it rarely ever happens.
Not really. I wake up early on a daily basis, and that's what I'm used to. Some weekends I'll wake up late, and while I enjoy the sleep, I kick myself for sleeping in too late. It probably doesn't help that I like to go to bed late as well.
I love it when I manage to sleep deeply enough to stay asleep past the first noise in the house. Sadly I sleep so little and lightly that the cat jumping off a counter could wake me up.
I totally slept in today and missed an appointment, nobody woke me up because it's a holiday here. I hate waking up after 10 or 11 am, I feel like I wasted half the day even though I stay up 'til 2 am anyway.
I dislike waking up late, and yet I do it virtually every single day. Like you said OP; it's that feeling of having wasted most of the day, it's quite depressing.
I try and rationalise it, as in sleeping in later I will be up later in the evening, therefore I'm still going to be awake for the same number of hours. Despite this, it still feels wrong
