No, because I feel like I wasted the day if I do. Then again, the latest I've ever slept was about 10:30am. Staying asleep past 8:30 is usually what I can "sleeping in" because it rarely ever happens.

Define "late". =P

I work nights, and wake up at 8:30 PM...

That being said, I usually only get between 6-8 hours of sleep, even on nights off (hell, sometimes LESS on nights off).

Not really. I wake up early on a daily basis, and that's what I'm used to. Some weekends I'll wake up late, and while I enjoy the sleep, I kick myself for sleeping in too late. It probably doesn't help that I like to go to bed late as well.

I love it when I manage to sleep deeply enough to stay asleep past the first noise in the house. Sadly I sleep so little and lightly that the cat jumping off a counter could wake me up.

It mostly depends on what I've got planned for the next day. If I so much as even get up after 10 I won't have the drive to do anything.

I totally slept in today and missed an appointment, nobody woke me up because it's a holiday here. I hate waking up after 10 or 11 am, I feel like I wasted half the day even though I stay up 'til 2 am anyway.

"Poll : Poll:"?

You do know that the post does it for you, right?
Didn't know until after I'd made the topic as I've never done a poll before.

I dislike waking up late, and yet I do it virtually every single day. Like you said OP; it's that feeling of having wasted most of the day, it's quite depressing.

I try and rationalise it, as in sleeping in later I will be up later in the evening, therefore I'm still going to be awake for the same number of hours. Despite this, it still feels wrong :(

If I wake up at 11:30, I feel fine. But 11:31 and I feel like I've slept the day away! ...I'm wierd

The hours between Midnight and 6am are the greatest, most peaceful time of the day, there is no way I would waste that sleeping..I sleep as much of the day away as I possibly can..I really should move to one of those countries where its dark 6 months of the year lol

I got up at 14:00 today, that was fun. in all fairness I went to bed at 3:00 and I have the day off so surely that's fine right?
I, unfortunately, routinely only get to sleep at around 3am but I still manage to get up at 12. You're just lazy :p
Perhapse, but considering I usually have to get up at five I think it's justified.
Also, I never deny that I'm lazy

Usually irritated by it, but my retarded mental state makes me mad at just about everything because I feel like I'm always wasting my time.

I don't mind sleeping in, as long as I don't have to be anywhere on that day.

Generally, since I'm a student and still living with my family, I prefer to have a schedule that allows me to survive school and part time job, and everything else is okay with me...

So during summer, when I usually work a few days a week and everything else isn't really fixed (unless I'm going out with friends), I have an erratic sleep schedule.

But, since I'm stuck at home with my parents and have plenty of time on my hands, I'd rather be up when everyone else is asleep... because I like being alone at times. So staying up till 7 AM or, on the other hand, going to bed at 4 pm and waking up at midnight are things I love to do when I can.
