As the tabs are in the top top bar, the bookmarked sites are easy to access and its simplistic.

Opera. You can point to lab tests run with digital stopwatches, but, for whatever reason, Opera just feels faster (maybe because it processes Javascript even faster than Chrome?).

why? speed, the way search is intergrated in the adress bar and plugins like the awesome google translate plug-in excellent for when i'm on foreign sites

although i keep firefox on standby, firebug and the webdeveloper toolbar are excellent add-ons that help me in my work from time to time

Well, started off as IE, until I discovered what a 'browser' was and that it wasn't just the button for the Internet (yay references!), but when I did I switched to chrome, cos it was simple and looked nice, but then I got paranoid about stories I had heard about the information it collects on you, and switched to opera... which looks and acts pretty much the same for my purposes, plus I can breed turtles on it
