It's got to be a bit of both. I wouldn't want a girl with a hot body but a hideous face. And I wouldn't want a girl with a pretty face and nice hair but a disgusting body either. A middle ground of a pretty girl with a nice body is what I (and probably mostly everyone else) shoot for.

I say over and over again that I prefer cute and pretty over hot and sexy but it's incorrect. Of the women I meet most of the ones I'm attracted to are "hot" rather than "pretty". Suffice to say my penis and my brain are in disagreement.

You're an incredibly strange 15 year old.

I don't prefer either, I can see the good traits of both.
I'm 16 and I have no plans to get laid any time soon either. Does that make him less weird, me more weird, none of the above or a combination of the two?

OT: In a sexual attraction sense, pretty means more to me than hot, but in an everyday sense I find I like pretty people more (kind of makes the 'but' redundant doesn't it). Though I think that is more to do with a lot of nice people I know are pretty rather than I know a lot of pretty people and therefore I think they are nice.

I like pretty ladies, and to be perfectly honest, I actually tend to find 'hot' girls outright gross, like Megan Fox, dear GOD her face is just... Ugh. No, just, no.

I prefer a girl that looks... How to put it, 'soft, gentle?' Yeah, I think that describes my tastes rather well.

An exquisite personality is not optional, it is a must, if she has a cookie-cutter personality, she'll be practically invisible to me, literally, I won't even notice their presence after I learn they're part of the 'mindless highschool girl hivemind.' Also, the more interested she is in listening to me babble in on about space for hours, the better, so I guess that means I like 'nerdy' girls, if only nerdy enough for that. ;)

And you know what? I'll be perfectly honest, I adore large breasts [small](But not too large! i.e. Anything over DD, D's are perfect, in my opinion)[/small] , that's right, I'm not embarrassed to say it, if a lady is gifted she earns a large boost in attractiveness from me... Although a bad personality will obviously cancel out said boost. Not to say large breasts are a requirement, they're just a massive plus.

[small](Does anyone else dislike that whenever you give an even partially in-depth answer regarding your tastes in a partner, it always ends up looking like an entry from a dating site?)[/small]

I don't really like using the term "hot"

It sounds too sexual and almost sexist in a way. When someone says "hot" they're probably thinking about just the sexual part of it. That's why I like cute, pretty or beautiful.

OT, though, I like non traditionally hot girls. Small breasts, nice figure, intelligence, personality and glasses are a bonus :D

So, I guess pretty or cute by normal standards
Agreed.

we must be like long lost twins or something crazy b/c i couldnt of said it any better.

You're actually the second person to say that to me in this thread.

Actually, the first person told me I was his clone.

I tend to use both. I call Angelina Jolie "hot" (I mean, look at her), and I call most girls I know locally with personalities I can relate and converse with to a positive effect "pretty" or "cute". Athletic breasts and arse if we're talking "below the neck", the face would require too much detailed explanation.

Pretty. I find conventional hot to be a turn-off. Large breasts frighten me.
Which I think makes me a paedophile, in Australia.

I like a bit of both, unless given the degree of hotness is equal-or-greater-than the degree of prettiness. That bends a bit Oliver's First Law of Dating.
Who's first which in the what now?
Yes, Mr. Doctor. Oliver's First Law of Dating. It's sort of an inside joke between me and my brother, and it goes like this:

If said subject's attribute of hotness is equal-or-greater-than his/her prettiness, then said subject is not dateable because of potential head-emptiness.
Ah, that makes sense. :) And you called me The Doctor! *squeeee*
Glad you noticed it. I wasn't sure if it's Mr. Doctor or Mr. The Doctor. Which one is correct?
I think it's Mr. Doctor, otherwise it sounds a bit weird.

I want a girl with a short skirt and a long jacket.

wait, back on topic:

personally, I like my girls pretty, although a lot of the pretty girls I've known have also been, by your definition, hot.

i always tend to find girl who are either pretty, smart, but emotionally unstable, or pretty, emotionally stable, but dumb as nails. Those are the only girls I've ever found to exist.

Any girl with all three is a perfect match for my

If we're just talking about looks i'll prioritize in this order:
face, body overall (fit, normal, thin, skinny, fat etc.) ass, breasts.

A girl with a pretty face and a normal body is better looking than a girl with a great body and huge boobs but an ugly face IMO.

As for what girls i go for... i've usually just gone for those who showed interrest in me, and seen what it led to, unless there was something about them that made made me not want to do anything with them, usually personallity related though.

Pretty.
My girlfriend Is both pretty and hot (from you're description of the difference between them) but that's just my sexy opinion.

I can live with either one. I am very picky when it comes to girls (unfortunately), but pretty takes the cake I guess.

The face will allllways be the most important thing for me. Boobs are all well and good but at the end of the day, those zombie nurses in Silent Hill have big boobs, you wouldn't want THAT anywhere near you though.
[small]also if you stare at them too long they spray stingy liquid in your eyes[/small]

Pretty, cute, however you want to describe it, those are the girls I look for.

I like pretty girls. When I think of a "hot" girl, I think of someone who immediately causes sexual arousal in everyone around her. And I don't want to date someone like that. A cute face makes up for many "bodily flaws".
