Poll: Prof X Or Magneto (not a versus thread)

OK I watched X-men; the last stand and apart from thinking "my god this is awful" It did make me think that If I was a mutant how would I go about achieving equality;

1.Magneto route; Take control by force

2.Prof X; Achieve it through education and diplomacy

Now assuming you were a mutant which path would you follow?

(This argument can be applied to any civil rights/equal rights dispute however in this one you have super powers which could aid to either cause; use your powers to help or just blow stuff up)

I'd also like to think that if I was a mutant, then I'd be blessed with super powers that allowed me the freedom to not have to choose, or that I could gain equality through respect and adoration.

I'd use diplomacy. Mainly cos the mutant gene doesn't awaken at a certain point. We could be killing future mutants!

Magneto had to face many hardships in his youth, so I think he'd be hard to get along with.

Comparing this to say the racial equality movement is a tenuous, (as far as I am aware) black people can't shoot lasers from their eyes or fly. The irrational fear of black people does not equate to a very rational reason to fear super-powered mutants.

Despite this: Diplomacy...make it so.
