It's not long now untill the game I dream of arrives. I speak of Prototype, a game which (to me) resembles the second coming.
In June the game shall be released, that's a short time away, so I thought I might make a thread about this game that appears to be the most awesome thing since cheese and bread were invented.

So anyway... anyone else looking forward to Prototype?

I don't want to rain on your parade but I saw the "10 reasons you need Prototype" trailer the other day and actually found myself sniggering a little bit, not at the game just the trailer.

Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, I do believe.

I'm getting annoyed. The keep on delaying to torque up the graphics. I'm really looking forward to this game but if they keeping making the graphics better, I might not be able to play it due to my PC not being strong enough.

Been following it for a while, pre-ordered it even, heh, so yeah, I'm looking forward to it just a smidgin.

That said, I really hope it turns out how it looks and they don't fuck it up. I've heard comparisons with their earlier game 'The Hulk', with this being the next evolution, and I'm hoping that freeing it from a movie/comic book franchise will have allowed the developers the freedom to take the game to the heights they envisage.

PS, they used to have a release date for the end of last year, and they didn't even change it on the website when that fell though - so pissed >:/

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. Most modern PC's can handle this game. A good benchmark is if your PC can run GTA 4 or not.

They put on God mode to showcase the moves. The real game's got challenge, according to the devs.

this looks awesome... but from the looks of it all you do is destroy stuff constantly? and pretty easily? I hope that there is actual substance to the game and it has some difficulty because from the looks of it that guy is invincible!

I think you can feel the mental shockwave from the whole forum screaming "YES".

They're just showcasing the moves, to impress people. The game has plot, missions, you start out with basically no powers. The usual thing, y'know?

Sucker Punch (they also created the Sly Cooper series) has never let me down, so I'm pretty hyped about this game.

Ah, you're thinking of inFamous. That's being made by Sucker Punch. Radical Entertainment is making Prototype.

I already decided to get inFamous, but if I have an extra $60 I might grab a copy.
My only real problem with Prototype is you seem really overpowered, and it might make the game a little too easy.
