Ive wanted this for ages. I'm tres siked. Looks like it combines the funs of getting around in Spiderman 2 and the awesome destructive funs of Hulk:Ultimate Destruction, with a dash of Mercenaries 2 vehicle jacking and explosions. Formula = fun. Though I will be checking the reviews before jumping onboard.
Don't look at the reviews! They'll taint your experience! Buy or rent the game, if you don't like it, take it back. Then check out what the reviews say. At least it'll be your own bias, then.Magus44 said:

I'm slightly apprehensive about buying Prototype. I've seen the trailer and the top ten reasons to play it.
While it definitely looks impressive, and the transforming into enemies sounds great, I'm not seeing much else to it at all.
Is that all there is to do?
It doesn't seem like it has much point to the destructon, even after I read the plot. Even if it looks seriously cool, I can see it becoming incredibly repetitive.

Also, I can see there's god mode on the trailer...but does anyone think it will be a mode we can choose, maybe after beating the game? That would be awesome. And relaxing to come wreak havoc on a city when you've had a bad day. xD

Radical Entertainment made a wonderful free-roaming title back in 2005, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and it looks like they are taking a lot of what they learned from that title and ramping it up. If the gameplay is tight it could make for a great experience.
If there was a "Well, I AM NOW!" option, I would choose it after watching that video.

EDIT: After watching the video about the story, I think the story looks like the same ol' shit beying spewed out again, but still, the gameplay looks like it more than makes up for it.
