Poll: PS1 or PSX?

It seems that different people either say PS1 or PSX. Which do you say? Any certain reason?

I've always said PS1, because with PSX, I feel like it's roman numeral "10" and that just doesn't make any sense.

I just say 'Playstation.'

It just sounds wrong abbreviated in any way.

I usually just say Playstation when talking about the PS1, and only if people question which one do I add "1".

It's a ps1, because they haven't made a PS10 yet.

PSX, because that's what it was actually called back then, or at least how it was abbreviated. Yes, there was a different PSX later, but that's Sony's fault for doing that and confusing everyone.

PSX looks more cool in speech and in text although I use PS1 myself since it's distinct and people know right away what i'm referring to.

I really don't understand where people are getting the X from, assuming they're referring to the first Playstation console.

It's called the Playstation and was the first one, so 'PS1' just makes sense.

When I speak I say "PS1", but typing I say PSX. For some reason I really hate referring to the original's as "(insert word here)1", for example if I'm talking about the very first GTA, I would never refer to it as "GTA1" I would just refer to it as "GTA".

Well, what's really confusing is that Sony released a remake of the console called "Playstation One" after they made PS2, so I call it PSX.

PSX is the official title anywhere you look, and PS1 is specifically the smaller version of the PSX you can fit an LCD screen onto. I remember the ads.

Completely incorrect. The PSX is a variation of the PS2.
