I know the 360 got this last month, but this for Ps3 users.

So I put in Mw2 just before and I had to download an update, then it says the new packs are on the Playstation Store, and I check but they're not, no need to panic just yet but if it's not there soon I'll be really pissed.

But enough about me, Who's buying it? Who isn't? Excited? Got any tactics or the like to share?

Don't like MW2, don't like half-assed overpriced DLCs, don't own a PS3. It's also released on the PC via steam but I'm sure it will reap a fucking huge profit.

Outside of USA it's the 5th of may and there is also the double XP thing.

I doubt I will get it, if you say £10 for 5 maps it sounds alot but it's £2 a map and since I will play each map more than 10 times (if I get it) thats like an hour an 40 mins atleast, £2 for atleast an hour and 40 mins seems alright to me.

I have never bought DLC before but I have heard this is a little over priced (as is the rest of the game) and all the maps are new to me, since I never played MW1 online.

So to me it's £2 each for 5 brand new maps, will last me atleast a few months, clocking up more than an hour and 40 mins on each map seems reasonable to me.

Still not sure though. (sorry if I repeated myself I am kind of distracted)

Edit, maybe I was wrong on the release date outside of the UK.

Nah, I've already got bored of the multiplayer, I can't see myself really getting back into it now.

I'm getting it, just to stay in the loop.
Thats one of the reasons I'll get it, I don't want to hear all my friends talking about it and me missing out on all the fun.

Honestly, I really don't like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 enough to want to buy a pack. Especially when all it is just adding maps.

You will spend that cash to stay in the loop? You two are lucky to have alot of disposable cash. Does it really matter that much if you fall out of the loop? If your not having fun then don't buy it.

1. Well, I am relativaly well off (not bragging)
2. And I am having fun, if I wasn't, I wouldn't be playing it.

Guys, take it from a 360 owner with buyer's remorse...

Waste of money.

The maps are just as camp-friendly and clusterfuck inducing as the vanilla ones, and are way overpriced.

Well, this confirmed what I was thinking.
Just a shame that you had to suffer for the rest of us.

As it stands, MW2's online knows how to push my buttons in ways that leave me furious. I would never want to douse that fire in more gasoline - and that's not even mentioning the absurd price that comes with it.

PC users as well thank you very much!

Haven't played it yet though, pre-ordered it for 10% off! (But we still use ? as currency on steam so I still got fucked over!)

The poll's a bit restrictive. I don't hate MW2, but I don't care for the map pack.

If they want to charge that much for DLC, it should have more than a few maps.
I think they shot themselves in the foot with those prices.
I don't know anyone who's buying this.

i own both a 360 and ps3 but i have mw2 for 360 because i like the online better for 360 and i like the 360 controller better for fps games. however if i did have it for ps3 i would be getting the maps, nobody wants to be the reason that thier friends cant play the new maps
