Too true. I went back to MW2 for a week recently and back came all the rage. I was crazy, it is truly the most frustrating game I've ever played.Hazy said:Well, this confirmed what I was thinking.MiracleOfSound said:Guys, take it from a 360 owner with buyer's remorse...
Waste of money.
The maps are just as camp-friendly and clusterfuck inducing as the vanilla ones, and are way overpriced.
Just a shame that you had to suffer for the rest of us.
As it stands, MW2's online knows how to push my buttons in ways that leave me furious. I would never want to douse that fire in more gasoline - and that's not even mentioning the absurd price that comes with it.

Before the map making community gets forced down by companies deciding it's worth stopping people making their own content so they can squeeze some more cash out of us down the line.
We would definitely have a lot more maps, though I don't know about the quality part, considering the map pack ones are made by... well you know, ACTUAL designers and not Johnny Two Cents in his basement. I've always found the best maps are usually made by the devs, though it would still be awesome to see some user made stuff. (de_rats for CS 1.6 was possibly the best FPS map ever!)Pingieking said:This.D4zZ said:Massive waste of money, I hope people realise this soon and just stop buying them.

If modding was available from day 1, we would already have several dozen maps of much higher quality that the stuff in the stimulus package.
How do you think these level designers get noticed?XinfiniteX said:We would definitely have a lot more maps, though I don't know about the quality part, considering the map pack ones are made by... well you know, ACTUAL designers and not Johnny Two Cents in his basement.
