A while back, the PS4 was announced, bringing much joy, but also much gnashing of teeth. Now that we've had a while to think critically and various experts have weighed in on its potential, what does everybody think of it?
I doubt that they expect this to be a primary draw so much as a "bonus."j-e-f-f-e-r-s said:I also think they're overestimating how many people are going to be able to buy a $400/500+ console and a $200+ handheld just for game connectivity.
That anyone would consider the writing in an Uncharted game good, let alone so good that (x) actually makes me weep for gaming.Kwil said:The writing in it is so good that it's actually entertaining just to watch somebody else play.
Meh, if I ever did get one it would be to play SotC and maybe Okami. But I can't go buying a console just to play a few games, I'm not mr super money man. Besides, the PS controller freaks me out. THE BUTTONS ARE SHAPES WFT?!?!Kwil said:Uncharted.OlasDAlmighty said:Well I've never bought a Playstation before, I'm not really sure why I would start now. I wish Sony the best of luck with their new upgrade.
Journey.
Seriously, Uncharted is one of the best single-player experiences that my partner and I have had. The writing in it is so good that it's actually entertaining just to watch somebody else play. And I'm usually arguing that story is secondary to gameplay.
