The hirsuteness of My Map of Tasmania,as we call it down here,varies on 3 things:whether I'm sexually active, the weather,and my sexual health.
If I'm in a relationship,I usually tidy up.
In summer,I do go bare on the hottest days as it feels cooler & cleaner.When it's 40C here in Aus,you don't ANYTHING making it hotter anywhere.
Also easier to wear a bikini this way.
Winter means a basic trim.If I'm single AND its cold,nah,can't be bothered.
If I have a urinary tract infection,forget it.Shaving = ow ow ow ow ow ow.
One thing,I WILL say: I do wonder if modern porn has screwed up attitudes to women's pubes.I've been on a few 'true crime' sites that often have autopsy pics of dead people,some of them young females.
I've swear I've read varying versions of the following statements again & again:
"Look at the shaved snatch.She must have been a real whore."
"Look at that unshaved snatch.God what a dirty whore."
"Look at that trimmed snatch.What a whore."
You get similar remarks on amateur porn sites in the comments section.
I've tried without success to tell these cretins that even 12 yr old virgins have to trim/shave when they go swimming,lest they give everyone an eyeful of their labia landscaping.And get called a whore for it.

So no matter what you do with your love forest,somebody will be a creep about it.I've never thought au naturel was gross,in either sex,but a bit of maintainence has its advantages too.
