I tried an electric razor once and hated it. I like the more visceral, "paintbrush" feel of the standard razor. I also stopped using shaving cream/gel/what-have-you a long time ago.. for me it's just not necessary; a hot shower preps everything just fine.

good old wet shave. I used an electric when I was younger and had a really bad acne problem. If I didn't use electric back than I'd end up cutting myself up something fierce. Now, wet shave, simple quick and easy.

Good ol' soap and a razor usually does the trick for me. Unless I'm shaving my head, of course.

I shave using gel and a razor every week or two. One day when I finish school and don't need to be clean shaven, I shall grow an awesome goatee.
So your planning on becoming like Varg Vikerness?

OT - I don't shave, I trim. I don't grow facial hair.

I prefer gel and a razor over my electric shaver. Feels nicer and doesn't irritate the skin. If I'm in a hurry I'll just use the electric one though.
I usually shave about twice a week, without bothering to go against the grain unless I really need to get a clean cut. I prefer the softness of down-like hair over babyface smooth. And I like playing with it when I'm bored ^__^

That's how I roll.

I shave every couple of days, when I realise that the stubble is becoming too manly and intimidating :p Didn't used to use Gel, but then realised it does actually help quite a lot :D

I generally find an electric is easier on my skin than the traditional means. I only use a razor when I have several days of growth to deal with.

I was quite happy with my 'lectric feller, but I lost it, I don't even know how, most likely is that I jammed it in my pocket for some reason, and left the house. I have no idea. Now I'm on disposables and foam. I quite like it... Both seem good =]

I use this as well. Shaves every 2 days, and it takes me ~5 mins.

Electric.

Time saver and easy cleanup

The chain of that chainsaw would cut wood for about a whole of a second before flying off the blade.

Why can't people take care of their tools? <.<

Both. I start off with an electric trimmer, and then use the razor to get that extra close smoothness.

when you get really hairy you need a really expensive shaver, and even then they don't always work. So cream and clean is defo better

Disposable razor and shaving gel. Takes me less time. Something about the consistency of my facial hair coupled with electric razors that means it takes me almost half an hour to shave with them.

EDIT: Has anyone else noticed how stupid the names of men's razors are?

Razor and cream, feels better and i usually do it at the last minute before work so i smash it out in under 5 minutes.

Maybe 2/3 times a week, sometimes alot less if i'm feeling lazy. I sometimes wait for my boss to tell me to shave.
