It's usually not your natural hand. So if you're right handed, you wear it on your left hand (Usually) and if your left handed, vice versa (Usually).

I don't wear a watch but if I did it would be on my left wrist so it wouldn't be in the way as much. I'm right handed. Cell phone is even less in the way though, so I just use that to check the time.

I always thought it depended on which hand you write with - don't be difficult by saying both (and yes I can) - if you write left-handed the the watch goes on the right wrist and visa versa (sp?).

You are to wear a watch on your off hand (or the hand that you do not write with.)

I am right handed and I wear a watch on my left arm. I don't know why but I've always worn it on my left arm so it feels weird on my right arm now.

I choose to abstain from this vote.

Pocket watches are far more elegant.
Seconded.

I would wear mine on my left, but I don't like my watch to be loose. It fits perfectly on my right wrist because it has more muscle and is slightly thicker because of that.

My dad told me that as I am right handed I should wear my watch on my left wrist.

The total badass rebel that I am, I always wear it on my... left wrist... DAMNIT!

I'm a lefty so I wear my watch on the right wrist after years of wearing it on my left wrist and realizing that it sucked for writing. Although now I have to remove my watch while playing computer games that involve mice... I wear a G-Shock and it's quite large ad gets caught on the edge of the table and such.

EDIT: Also, I wear my watch upside down as well.

it is usually the left wrist some people believe it signals your sexuallity left straight right (Homosexual) but not many people no of that so you shouldnt get much flak if you dont know
What the hell... this sort of thing always confused me. Like how guys (at least where I'm from) regularly get one ear pierced - if they got their right ear pierced, it supposedly meant they were gay, but the left ear is all manly.

Do people realise just how bloody stupid this crap is? It means absolutely nothing, other than personal comfort. I'm left-handed, so it's easier to put the watch on my right wrist. Yup, that changed my sexuality alright. No foolin'.

...I should leave the internet alone when I'm grouchy.
im left handed to, and i think it is kinda dumb also but hey if thats how it is i wont fight it, that is just another way of keeping tabs on people although you wont know if they are homosexual or straight because they might just not know about this little which hand jewelry/watches/peircings is supposed to be on
