Isn't this based on the fact that a watch is easier to put on you "weaker" hand, and most people are right handed(atleast i've been informed so). I quess norm has come out of how most people do it.

My dad told me (when i got my first watch) Men wear watches on the left so i've always done that and it feels really weird to have it on the right.

When I'm at work I wear mine on the left because it gets in the way for holding and chopping with knives and I don't want to risk whacking it on anything. As soon as I punch out and walk out of the kitchen, that bad boy comes off the left and goes on the right. Personal preferance, mate.

Generally on your opposite hand, so if you're right handed you'd wear it on your left, and vice versa.
