I'll take the heat any day over cold. I mean, I don't mind it a little chilly, but really cold is something I can't stand. Part of this has to do with the fact that I one time worked in the cold and, regardless of all precautions I took, I still was in danger of hypothermia, and it took two hours worth of extreme measures to get my temperature raised back to normal. Not to mention, the cold tends to go along with nosebleeds, chapped lips, cold sores, illness, and just about every other unpleasantry you can put your body through. With heat, the most you have to worry about is staying hydrated, applying sunscreen as needed, and being sweaty, and honestly, I'll take those over the disadvantages of cold.

Then again, over half my life has been spent in Florida, so I'm used to the heat compared to all you Northerners that have to crank the A/C up and contribute to global warming in the process. However, the rest of that other slightly-under 50% has been spent up North, so I'm also very used to the cold compared to Southerners (I actually can handle rather drastic temperature changes very well). After spending my life pretty much evenly split, all I can say is that I vastly prefer the heat. However, it hasn't always been like that. I used to hate the heat, but after recent experiences with the cold (as I went into above), my view of the two has changed drastically.

Most nights I go to sleep with my feet freezing, and it takes up to 30 minutes to really heat them up. Hands too, but they get warm rather quickly. It sucks. Worse than the heat is the humidity which would still be there, and so I'd go with steady warmth rather than coldness.

When I'm cold I'm just cold; when I'm hot I get sweaty and thirsty and sunburned. Plus, hot weather brings with it lots of big bugs like mosquitos and the like, whereas cold weather kills off all those bastards.

I don't particularly mind, both will kill you at their extremes. Although hot weather can get one all sweaty and bothered, and make it hard to get to sleep, it's not that much of a big deal unless you're dehydrated or get sunburnt. Cold weather can be equally unbearable, I once failed a test because the boiler broke right before an exam and we couldn't get it repaired. I could literally do nothing but curl up in a ball, freezing. No studying, nothing.

Summer does bring all the nasties and creepy crawlies out to play, of course, but if we're just talking temperatures, then both are equally disadvantageous.

I'd rather cold, more layers + fire = happyness in the winter
Plus in the hot season where I live...EVERYTHING CATCHES FIRES AND BURNING D:

I'd pick the heat. Been around it for a good deal of my life, and just kinda got used to it. Sure, you're sweaty, but can always take a shower afterwards. Plus, there's the beach! Sun, surf, attractive people walking around in little clothing, what's not to love?

Being around it so much, I think made me a hot guy. *wink* I prefer house around 80-83 degrees (small range I know), and don't really sweat all that much. It could all just be in my head though.

Rather surprised by all the cold lovers on here. Figured it would be more 50/50.

Cold. Hot weather in California doesn't help with its upcoming water crisis and its million dollars in brush fire damages.

Question is somewhat imprecise
You should have asked- would you rather be in cold location or in hot location.
Because at current state question implies permanent change of body attribute.

Nitpicking aside, I prefer cold climate

Well...I think the answer's obvious, considering one gives you headaches and makes your toes fall off and the other gives you hella chics-

Oh. Someone made that joke already. -_-

(Honestly, I've thought about this a fair bit, and I don't care as long as I'm dry. I hate humidity. Love the rain. Hate humidity.)

But cold because snow.

Well, you could be where you are now and either hot or cold. How do you know the question is imprecise?

My soul is not but frost and darkness. I sit in 20 degree weather in a tee-shirt an jeans so yeah I kind of like the cold in fact I like it to a rather absurd degree. Heat drains me and all I will do when I get hot is stuff on my computer with the AC on. As for my first comment I also do like the dark. I have a decent yard and it has lights everywhere as I will even garden in the dark and got rid of all my grass as it is hard to mow in the dark and mowing sucks anyway. I have had my place for about 4 years now and I have changed perhaps 2 light bulbs as I never turn them on unless I am cooking or have guests over

I'd prefer to be really cold as it's easier for me to physically deal with. when I'm too hot, I can't sleep, can barely breathe, and generally don't feel like moving. To me, cooling off is a lot harder than staying warm.

Cold, definetly. Apart from the obvious about being able to do something about cold, which you can only do to a certain point when it's hot, I also got ass long super thick hair which makes every summer a fucking nightmare.

I'd rather be really hot. If I was cold, parts of me would start freezing and falling off. If I'm hot, I'd pass out from exhaustion, but at least I wouldn't break apart. Plus if I survive, I'd be skinnier, if dehydrated.

I prefer the cold over heat. Mostly because it is far easier to warm up than it is to cool off. And related to that you can always put more clothes on, but there is only so much that you can take off (especially in public).

Cold. It's easier to make yourself warmer than it is colder plus my body seems to deal with cold far better than heat. In winter everyone else is shivering in full jackets and I'll be fine in a T-shirt but in summer I'll be fainting and dizzy.

I'd rather be cold. When you are cold, you can start wearing more clothes, or sit near heat sourse to get warm.
Plus, sweating is also a big minus for me.
