Poll: Re-make the Elderscrolls

As much as I want to see a remade version of Morrowin, I'll have to say no.

Better to move forward, and not dwell on past achievements.
I'm sure Elder Scrolls V will be more than good enough.

The reason I couldn't play Morrowind was because my eyeballs exploded at the sight of the graphics.

...They're not that bad at all, I still play it, and I can't stand bad graphics.

If you want bad graphics, play the previous game, daggerfall.

Actually in those days Daggerfall looked astonishing and the freedom it provided was never seen before.

I liked being a wereboar...I wish they allowed you to have both lycanthropy and vampirism, you just have to contract them in that order. That would rock.

But they would have to do more than just rehash them like Pokemon did. Not just a graphical upgrade, but a bringing them up to date and having them fall into line with the level of the series now. (And please, no more naked elves...*shudder*)

Meh for remakes. I'd rather see them further the franchise or make something new.

Now that they have access to a truly awesome 3D engine (just acquired idGames), I am sure that the poor graphics of yesteryear are bound to stay in the past (as they should).

I dont see the point, because if they just improve the graphics then it will be the same ame just with better graphics. Theres no point to that unless they improve the originals combat, story, sound etc, but by then why not just make a new game? Remakes are bullshit because it's a waste of time and talent

I thought it was much more immersive and therefore superior to Oblivion, but then, I'm ridiculously biased around older games being the retro imbecile that I am.

If they did remake the older Elder Scrolls games, they would have to leave Morrowind and it's expansions out and just do Arena, Daggerfall, and Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard.
