I'd be happy to repopulate the Earth, but it wouldn't work in the given scenario. As others have been pointing out, it's unlikely that your descendants would have a viable gene pool before very long.
The negative effects of inbreeding are overstated, but they do exist, and they would eventually swamp whatever good genes you contributed.

Acutally I believe that the number is only 200 but the more the better. I would begin to repopulate the world but remember, almost every problem in the world at the moment is caused by there being just too many fucking people. For evidence of certain things like war being caused by population look at nature: chimpanzees actually have the concept of war now that the population of chimps in the Congo has hit several million. If I was the last person alive with a woman for X reason then I would get the nearest gun and shoot myself in the face. I would not think twice about it. All the options I can see are:

How about cloning? By the time humanity is down to a single couple it might be possible =P Genetic degrading would obviously take place but if you made enough "couples" per say and spread themselves out over the globe then meet every 20 years for their "offspring (then offsprings offspring) to mate" then maybe the human race could survive afew 100 more years.. just a theory. Also I'm not sure if you could classify it as incest, I mean technically they are brothers and sisters but brought up in different conditions all over the world may help the genetic variances abit.

And if theres only two ppl left, its kind of hard for them to do the cloning unless enough technology survived that automates the process. I work in a lab, machines break. I don't have much faith in that. And two people can't do the cloning procedure, no matter how good of biochemists they are.
