As many people have probably heard about now, Robert Green is the keeper who made a mistake during a big football match, costing England a win.
Now I was a bit dissapointed with this, as I would be - but I can't but help feel sorry for the guy.
He plays football for a living, he makes millions of pounds off of a game that people like to watch, and essentially that's all it is, a game. Now many people are practically seeing him as the devil, or someone who purposely sabotaged the matched for some bizzare reason.
He's going to live life, thinking about that one mistake he made, and it's going to be miserable for him, possibly even depressing, because the media are insulting him and taking the piss out of him every single minute because of a mistake he made in a game.
So what are your thoughts on his mistake, do you want him to die, or do you feel sorry for him?
EDIT: I also guess it helps me sympathise with him is the fact that I'm a keeper.
