i pretty much just posted the same thing about feeling sorry for him on facebook, its only a game, people make mistakes, deal with it and let him live his life.
You make an excellent point. Was Rooney even out there? It certainly didn't seem like it.TheZapper said:I laughed so much.
Typical West Ham player.
The rest of the team should be happy about the mistake as it hid how truly awful most of them were- Rooney was anonymous for most of the game. So much for the 'greatest striker in the world'. The less said about Heskey the better.
Eh, I was obviously exaggerating with that bit about English fans being killers. I do, however, stand by my opinion that the vast majority of English soccer fans are stark raving lunatics.Pariah87 said:We may get pissed off and as a nation dislike players who make major mistakes, especially in the later stages. Look at how Beckham was treated after getting sent off against Argentina. We don't actually kill our players however, unlike Columbia who assassinated a defender who scored an own goal back in the 90's.Sonicron said:I kinda feel sorry for the guy, because he won't be able to set foot on his home turf again without constant fear of beatdowns and assassinations, seeing how English soccer fans are about the most clinically insane on the whole damn planet.
