Yeah, but most of the appeal in that is that I would be submitting, not the actual pain. The pleasure is mostly psychological, the particular mindset it puts me in. Although I haven't actually done any BSDM scenes, or even had sex, so all of this is just based off of fantasies and of course, porn. Oh what the internet has done to me . I also have a dominant side, but ever since I've discovered I was my bisexual and the submissive side that sort of came with it (generally dom for girls, sub for guys), I sort of forgot about it. I'll probably get into it again at some point, I just have a tendency to get obsessed with a new thing I'm into, whether it be a new type of music or band, or anything really for awhile until I feel I have explored that thing thoroughly, then it leaves my focus and just becomes a casual part of who I am and what I like.

As a Sadist voreaphile I'd have to say they share a few features but are fundamentaly different, though they do both involve one giving themselves over completley.

I used to be a psychology major, so I wanted to find out how/why people thought the way they do. Now I'm a sociology major, and since sex is kind of part of being human, and plays large part of our lives, I figure learning about it isn't a bad idea. Also, when I was a psychology major, I wanted to research why people had fetishes and where they came from. XD

I have to say, I quite like most of the threads you make. They are interesting.

I'd like to think that my threads are thought provoking, and give people reason to look at themselves in ways that they might not have before. One of the best compliments I can get in a thread is having someone tell me that they'd never thought about it until I posed the question or that they learned something about themselves.
